“There must have been an update to the Money Maximiser website, it used to be quite easy to get a quote for car excess insurance. On this occasion, I needed to put data in but it wasn't clear that the field was car excess insurance as the section titled was for 'car insurance'. Either way the process was simple, straight forward. Information was all ready at hand (what was covered, amount covered for, price etc). There were reviews but it's good to have a balanced view so I recommend searching for reviews for the company excess insurance you're planning on buying, even if it is super cheap. Sadly people leave really good reviews for insurance companies when they haven't had to make a claim so look for the ones that have made a claim and have had positive experiences. In my case I've not had to make a claim for excess insurance but I've read positive reviews for Bettersafe. I'll continue to use them until there is a change in their reviews which I'll check each time I rent. Very grateful for sites like Money Maximiser where the comparison is straight forward (providing my data doesn't get passed on to third parties) and I got a small discount for going through the comparison site. Thank you.”

“Excess insurance is an excellent product, which I would recommend to all car hirers. Fortunately I didn't need it, but it is a very small price for peace of mind. Thank you”

“It was quick, simple and not expensive to find the additional insurance cover when we recently hired a car in France. Thankfully we didn't need to use it so don't know how efficient they are when dealing with claims. Certainly much cheaper than cover offered by the car rental company and we found them through Martin Lewis on the TV. Good value for peace of mind”

Many also offer discounts as well when you purchase your policy from our site online, to there's. So pleased, that you were able to receive this benefit by using Moneymaxim.
