“Very good quality but the your sizes are small, I need bigger size to fit, I bought 3 shoes size 7 which is my feet size, I need to replace them with size 8.”

“These particular shoes are not great, but they were inexpensive and I do like the look of them. Although I ordered my usual size, I have had to put in insoles and heel grips to stop them slipping when I walk Additionally, the two shoes do not match- the buckle lies in a different position on each shoe , please check thr photos!”

“My first order came, wrong size in box so obviously not checked. They were good at refunding my postage. Reordered and the second pair were faulty. My only criticism would be the length of time they take to refund your money, 10days to process then another few to go into your bank. Doesn't take them that long to take it out. And, I'm talking from when they signed for and received the return. Ridiculous !!!”

“Surprised and so disappointed in (lack of) customer service after having a size issue with last two pairs of shoes I ordered. Have bought more than a dozen pairs from M in P over last few years and despite initial scepticism regarding fit when ordering online rather than physically trying on in a shop, have found that virtually all M in P’s 40’s in varying styles were fine. Therefore I kept buying and recommending them to friends. However with these two recent styles, one was too short and shallow in the toe box and the other was much too long. As you have to pay for returns, thought I would politely highlight this to customer services and ask about comparative sizing on alternatives styles as I really wanted both pairs and needed advice before returning/replacing. It took several nudging Emails from me and over a week before I received my first very robotic reply (no advice!) and in total nine emails from me to eventually elicit a pleasant and accountable response. I was just trying to make the point that I’d put my trust in M in P’s sizing and bought their products exclusively for years and felt that customer loyalty warranted more than tick box (and subsequently often irrelevant) replies to maintain my faith in them. I also felt that as the sizes were so different, fit checks cannot have been made so the postage costs should not be mine. After the last proactive correspondence, I returned them on 12th May but have had no confirmation of receipt or refund as yet. Am I alone in feeling let down by this impersonal and uncaring service when I really enjoyed dealing with and wearing M in P up to now?”

“Thought these sliders were comfortable at first, leather good quality but the top part of the sandal doesn’t give when you walk in them causing pain and discomfort Even though I got them in the sale it’s been a waste of money”

“Delivery was very good. Money was taken to pay for goods almost as soon as ordered. However, sandals did not fit and had to be returned. Was told to send them tracked which I did at a cost of £8.95 on 27 April. They were received by Moda in Pelle on 28 April. I heard nothing about refund so emailed the company and was told it would be the following week. I was disappointed to not receive refund back to my credit card until 10 May! In this digital age that is a ridiculously long time to wait for a refund. Would definitely make me think twice before ordering online again, which is a shame as love their shoes.”

“Quick delivery. Products are high quality they look great! However trainers sizing are not reliable. Ordered 3 pairs they all had to be returned. Also company should provide free return as sizing is not true. So high chance we have to order different sizes and send some back.”

“I ordered some grey trainers. I received a pair I hadn’t ordered, the correct size and grey in colour. As I like them too I decided to keep them! Hence I only gave 3 stars. I’ve not worn them yet but they are comfortable when tried on. Good delivery on time and excellent quality.”

“I received my shoes which were perfectly boxed and sent but slightly too small. I returned them immediately for the next size. The next shoes sent were not newly boxed. They did not have any stuffed paper in shoes and tissue round for protection. The box was broken and sellotaped. Also the shoes had been well tried on.”

“Beautiful shoes & trainers from Moda In Pelle although they tend to come up slightly on the small side. Always quick delivery only downside is they don’t offer free returns so on a recent purchase I had to return for a bigger size then return those as they were too big, ended up paying £9 in return costs with no new shoes to show for it! Come Moda In Pelle - offer free returns like most other retailers do!!!”
