I recently bought some new tires and innertubes to get my bike back on the road, bought it about 8 years ago and it's done a few thousand miles since, still going strong and still loving every minute on it. Highly recommend buying from these guys as their products are high quality and very affordable! Plus, love the ability to have an absurdly colourful bike!

I bought a Custom OG from Mango and I really like the bike. It's an absolute beauty and I really appreciated being able to customize the colours. Quality-wise it is about what one can expect for the price range. It's solid and a comfortable ride. The only drawback that I had was that the forks weren't fully aligned and so I had to adjust them a little bit. When in top gear, the bike chain also rubs against the gear shifter a bit, so I might need to adjust that as well at some point. Overall: 9/10 for the bike itself 7/10 for the assembly 10/10 for customization options 10/10 for delivery speed and convenience

Just received the handlebars I ordered for my beach cruiser build. They are a perfect match to fit the large DH stem diameter and overall look not available ANYWHERE else (believe me, I left no stone unturned). I discovered Mango Bikes through my search for handlebars and was immediately drawn in to the aesthetic style of their bikes ! -Keith in Santa Monica, Cali-

I’m in love with another Mango bike. It’s my second. So impressed with them - the quality, the service, the ease of ordering and building. Could there be a third twinkle in my eye? πŸ˜‰

I was sent an incorrect item. The correct item was sent out a few days later but I didn’t receive any communication at all between me pointing out I had been sent the wrong item and the correct item arriving, a short email acknowledging the error and advising me that the correct item was being sent would have been helpful.

Firstly, I love everything that MB are doing; the customisation, the marketing, the ease of the website, the ease of ordering... It's all amazing, to be honest. I had a few queries that were answered very quickly by Andrew and the team at Mango Bikes. After ordering, the bike took a couple of weeks or so to arrive (it's custom made, give them a chance). Fantastically packaged and easy to put together. Fully fallen in love with the brand.

I opted for the customised single speed bike; I loved being able to pick different colour combinations and being able to upgrade on certain parts. Thoroughly enjoyed that design experience and that definitely made me pick Mango over other brands. Sadly though, when the bike arrived the rear wheel was broken – which really should have been spotted during assembly. Took the sheen off the purchasing experience as I had to wait for another wheel to be delivered and then obviously had to do all the labour myself. I would've appreciated Mango to have checked in after the issue as part of their customer service – as the issue was clearly an oversight on their part – but they sadly didn't. However, I'm really pleased with the bike as it rides smoothly and feels well put together. Just a shame about the mixed experience.

The bikes are good for the price, and delivery is prompt. I've been using my mango to commute, and also do the odd deliveroo shift

Bike took over a month to arrive due to missing a mechanical piece for the front wheel, after a month it was just shipped to me without that piece, had to go to my local bike shop to be able to use the bike no word from mango, genuinely was terrible service, the bike itself is beautiful but shame about the experience of getting it

First things first, I love my bike. It is absolutely beautiful, nice to ride, quality seems good, looks great, etc. However, I haven't been massively impressed by the service. I ordered on May 12th when it said the lead time was 10-14 days so I was expecting my bike before the end of the month (when I was planning to start commuting to work with it). I didn't receive my bike until July 7th, and the communication in the interim was not great - to the point that I was concerned the company had gone under or something (because things like "order status" weren't updated for many weeks). Indeed, the "bike availability" page on the main Mango home page still hasn't been updated since May 30th, with it currently saying bikes will be dispatched early to mid-June... today is July 20th! It makes it look like a dormant business (I was only reassured by the social media channels being updated). It also means I've missed out on many weeks of pleasant spring cycling... I was hoping to get used to it before it got too hot! I totally understand that there are supply issues (even though when I ordered the website said "good stock" for all the parts of my bike) but these should be communicated earlier on to manage expectations. I was given some free lights when I was asked if I would be compensated for the long wait, and all of the customer service was friendly and helpful when I actually got a response (I wouldn't bother using the live chat function, nobody seems to respond. Email seems better). The other thing that has annoyed me a bit is the email that comes when your bike has been dispatched. The subject line is "Building your Mango Bike is easy" and it includes the words "Every Mango is already 90% of the way there." I think this is quite misleading - I was expecting to just have to pop the saddle on or something, but you actually need to attach the handlebars, front wheel, saddle, pedals (which you'll need to go and get greased at a bike shop if you ever hope to get them off again)... to me this is more than 10% of a bike! Buried at the end of the instructions it says you might want to get a bike mechanic to do it. As a rookie cyclist, I definitely didn't feel confident doing it all myself and didn't even understand some of the terms used in the written instructions (things like "stem and brake caliper" and "place the axle into the dropouts" - I'm sure if you know about bikes this stuff is second nature, but not to me!). I was luckily able to get my husband to help but it wasn't a quick and easy job by any means. Again, this is about managing expectations, the "90%" line is definitely a big stretch. This feels really moany so I want to reiterate that I love my bike and I think Mango have many USPs and great branding, but it definitely would have been a LOT easier and quicker to just buy a bike from a shop... it just wouldn't be as pretty.
