Ordered Kenda 25c tyres and got sent Freedom Roadrunner Sport tyres instead. Hopefully when my bike I ordered in May arrives all the parts are what I ordered and not substituted for something else.

Whilst my bike arrived a lot sooner than expected in the current climate, I have so far been quite disappointed with my new bike. I ordered a point R, and have now had the bike for a month. From as soon as I unboxed it I had problems with the build quality and it has so far been into a bike shop 3 times since receiving it. The front brakes did not work and the front tyre was twisted. The tyres are also different to the ones that should come with the bike and Mango have not replied to any of my emails about this. I got the brakes adjusted and sorted the tyre but then the next few weeks lead to several problems with the bike chain falling off and the gears shifting themselves, something I wouldn't have expected from a brand new bike. I took it in for a full service and the bike shop thought it was coming in for its one year service, not brand new. Now it has been fixed it is lovely to ride and I'm able to enjoy the bike and feel safer but Mango should ensure they check the build quality of their bikes before sending as it has been a frustrating few weeks of trying to get it up and running and the bike was unsafe to ride on arrival.

Not too impressed. I had very little communication regarding Covid-19 delays, I had to chase several times and when the bike arrived it had the wrong coloured handle bars and I have emailed to let them know and after two weeks still not had a response, also the frame seems bigger than a small so I have asked for that to be checked. Any contact I did have was polite and helpful but there has been a few walls of silence. The 7 day turnaround was about 7 weeks for me!

Great quality product (flipflop 6 apple rear wheel) however they forgot to add the other (fixed cog) after many efforts to contact i finally got through to a polite man on the phone who said he would ship one out to me.Its now been two weeks without any contact i’ve tried both their phone line leaving 3 messages and many emails but still no reply. ruined my experience overall, was planning to purchase another wheel or even a bike but my mind has been changed by their lack of support. The quality of the product is the only thing keeping it from very poor

*Disclaimer- I understand these times are difficult however the business is clearly still operating Firstly I just want to say the bike I ordered myself is amazing, I love every part of it that fact it’s custom and to my own design I love it, this is however about the only positive. The whole buying experience was horrific, I opted to do part finance which took best part of 2 hours as it wasn’t an option on their site at the time so that’s not really their fault and communication was going good between emails and the sites chat. Once this was done it was the best part of 3 weeks before it was delivered I was told about no delivery dates ect nothing I was constantly been ignored via email and even tried using their social media. So the bike comes just how I imagined perfect after nearly a month of waiting I finally get the bike I wanted. However on only my 3rd ride I noticed a loose crank (which was already attached and tightened when it came) I thought nothing of it get home and by this point the thing is hanging off. So I bought a simple allen key from home bargains and take it off to realise there was a massive chip inside the metal creating the fault, this was after less than 10 miles of riding. The bike is now totally unusable. I understand these things happen it could of happened during shipping or at any point before that. So I sent a lengthy email with pictures and videos clearly showing the fault. This was 11 days ago now and I’ve tried all there social medias and email. Nothing not a single response like they don’t care about their customers. I’d like to add times are hard and it may take a while to get back to someone but the fact they’re still posting on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and totally disregarding there customer is disgusting. Overall a very stressful experience and I would strongly strongly avoid buying from them at this time. Maybe I’m unlucky but I can see others having similar experiences, maybe in future they will improve their services as the product can be amazing.

I started a conversation using the little message logo on your main webpage raising a query about some handlebars I was interested in. The message was read but no one replied.I repeated the message again the following day but again no one replied.

Bars were fine. Unfortunately the bar tape was very unsatisfactory. When peeling the backing strip from the bar tape the whole thing peeled away, leaving gaps with no adhesive to stick to the bars. What glue that was left, again pretty rubbish. Quality of the bar tape was poor, as was the finishing tape and bar ends.

Really pleased with the bike, pictures look great and am looking forward to riding it once I receive it. However, this won’t be making up for the customer service I received... Overwhelmingly I felt that the customer service from Mango Bikes was really poor. I understand these are difficult circumstances right now for businesses in terms of stock/supply...however there’s been very little customer care to make up for this. After ordering the bike, I had no contact from the company about how long I may be waiting, and when I did chase this up I was given very vague information in a delayed response. It is not the fact that the bike took nearly 3 weeks to arrive, i have been more than happy to wait. It is instead the fact that Mango have not been proactive in their communication at all - I am always the one who had to instigate any conversation about the progress of my order. Even at this moment I am waiting for an answer to a simple yes/no question about whether the bike has a quick release wheel which I sent 3 days ago. I’ve contacted them over live chat, after a few days I telephoned because I didn’t get a response, then the person on the phone told me to email as they weren’t sure the answer to my question. Definitely would go to another company for my next purchase as I felt the whole experience was just me constantly chasing up information on my orders. As mentioned, I have shown understanding and not once complained about the time it took to receive my order - however as a company you must also show a mutual understanding that customers are anxious about the progress of their orders too.

Hi Louis Sorry we've disappointed you with our support along the way. Definitely not what we're about or want customers to feel. Easter hasn't helped with the delivery but can see it's due with you in the next 24 hours. We've moved staff around onto random hours to minimise contact with each other and keep the business operating. All the simple things have become slower and we've dropped the ball on some important things. Apologies for this and hopefully new bike day and your first ride will make you feel a bit better about Mango Bikes. Mango Bikes // Andrew

The bike was a clearance sale. the whole thing lasted 2 months and they fell apart at the welds for the frame and forks, currently have a jigsaw puzzle not a bike and not entitled to a refund, 10/10 wont be back

Hi Maria Sorry to hear you got a puncture. Our tyres a really great quality but we can't legislate against road conditions unfortunately. It's also worth making sure tyre pressure is checked regularly as if it's too low this can also increase chances of getting a puncture.

The lock you sold me doesn't really fit the bike which I also bought from you - the attachment isn't a suitable size. The lights that you sent are also leopard print rather than black, which is quite a specific taste

Hi Maxell There is an insert on the lock holder (the bit which attaches to the frame) This can be removed and it will then fit the bike no problem. We use these ourselves and have fitted them to a few bikes. Hope that helps and you can fit it ok.

Hi Paul You could have scored us 1* so appreciate you being nice to us. We didn't forget but just had delays and then wrong parts delivered. Has now been sorted so hope you're pedalling happily. Sorry for taking so long to get the chain delivered to you.

I really like the bike and I am glad I chose a mango single speed, but like a few people have said, the customer service wasn't amazing. After ordering there was no expected dispatch date?? After a week I called up and to be fair they were good on the phone and said it would be built the next day and dispatched the day after. 3 days later I called up as I hadn't heard a peep... They were missing a single part from the built bike and said it would be another week. Not only would it be nice to have been told, but I missed out on the 15% off offer by a day or two, but expect people who got it got there bike when I did :(

Ordered this wheel and it arrived in a box so comprehensively mislabelled (picture, large printed label, hand-ticked check boxes etc.) I assumed they had sent the wrong one. Turns out they just ship them in the wrong boxes and don't remove any of the labels and packaging checklists. Really poor customer service too, ignored several emails for weeks. Wouldn't buy from them again. Wheel seems okay though.

Hi Daniel Sorry about the confusion. We did reply to your emails but unfortunately didn't realise you hadn't opened the box for a while. We're proud that we reuse boxes and don't waste resource relabelling. It's how we've worked for a few years and out of the hundreds of wheels sold and dispatched this has been the very first issue. Glad you like the wheel, sorry you feel let down by the packaging. Mango Bikes

I ordered a bike seat. They told me it was in ‘build’ for a month before I emailed them and they told me they didn’t have it in stock and would get it to me soon. If you didn’t have it in stock for over a month why did you let me order it in the first place. I had to suffer on a broken bike seat for over a month when I could have gotten one next day delivered if they told me it wasn’t in stock. I love the brand but this isn’t acceptable. Bike seat was also not the same colour as online but close enough. ( was light pink online; dark pink in person). Quality of the seat is nice enough.

Fast to respond to emails before you buy, but expect NO response afterwards. Bike delivered (eventually, after a LONG wait for it to be 'custom built') with no instructions, no tools and no customer support whatsoever. The bike makes suspicious clicking noises already and will have to go to the shop as Mango can't be bothered to reply to me all week. Original Single Speed bike seems ok aside from the clicking. Saddle is relatively comfortable. Bought it because I didn't want anything special and it is indeed not anything special. Feels very similar to buying from sports direct - once they've got your money that is that and don't expect any help or customer service at all. To be honest buying a bike from sports direct would have probably been less stressful. I am not sure whether to give a 1 or 2 out of 5 as the experience has been woeful but lets go with 2 because I'm a nice guy.

For some reason my first review was removed from the site? Anyway, I ordered two custom 16 geared versions for my sons. The bikes arrived about two weeks late. I had to email and call several times, as there was no information about the delay. Having read some of the reviews, the two week's delay does not seem like much now! After the bikes arrived, I immediately noticed some shortcomings. The first bike, black with an orange fork, arrived with a black fork. In addition, the logo "chasewood" was made with stickers on the cranks and they had moved and some were missing. On the other bike the logo was painted and looked much better. I had to tune the gears a bit and tighten the brakes. Mango Bikes promised to send a new fork and a crank, but so far I have not received them. The second bike was even worse. The delivery was ok, no shortcomings, but the someone had clearly missed quality control on the bike. The gears and brakes were totally not tuned and I had to learn how to do those from the net. After about 200 km, the wheels started making clanking noise. The spokes on the wheels were loose (could be moved by hand) and the front wheel had something rotating inside the tyre. Perhaps a broken spoke end or something? Also the bottom bracket needed tightening. Mango Bikes promised to refund the costs for repairs and tuning at a bike shop. Overall, the product and concept seem like a good thing, but major improvements should be made in quality control and customer connections. The response (if any) time is just too long. I was looking at a Point R for myself also, but now I am looking elsewhere also.

Do not buy your bike here if you want it anywhere in the near future. I waited for 2 months to get my bike. And when i finally got it, it had the worng handlebars on it hand som smaller transport damages as well. I contacted mango to get the right handlebars sent to me and they once more sent the wrong ones! I must say the the bike is okey quality for the price but not ant more than that. It´s better to buy somwhere else!!!!
