Maisonwhite.co.uk were established in 2011 operating from their retail shop in Colchester, Essex. They have recently relocated their store to Benson in Oxfordshire where they sell a fabulous range of fine homeware and gifts, including soft toys from key brands such as Jellycat where they stock a growing range of loveable childrens toys. Other key brands for the home include Parlane, Voyage Maison and Dora Designs, as well as leading brand candles and diffusers. They have become a key ecommerce retailer selling their gifts all over the world to thousands of happy customers.

“I was told different delivery information during the 8 weeks of waiting for my order. That was annoying but what was worse was the curt emails I received from one customer advisor. Came close to cancelling my order. Spent almost £400 with them and was not value or treated nicely.”

I am very sorry for the frustration you felt whilst waiting for your order, I can see initially you were expecting delivery in June, but was then advised delivery in May. To eventually recieving a few days ago. Global maritime disruptions which have occured in the last few months mean delivery dates are fluctuating constantly, which is entirely outside of our control, though we appreciate how annoying changing timelines can be. Regarding our communication, I am sorry to hear you felt this way. Our team aims to provide clear, direct updates as efficiently as possible during these delays. We certainly never intend to sound curt or impolite, and we are sorry if our focused approach felt that way. We appreciate your patience while waiting for your back-ordered items.

“The bedding is lovely. Considering it is made in Pakistan it is rather expensive. Rang the shop to see if they had a throw as seen online and the lady at the shop was very rude and unhelpful. Won't be ordering from them again. I was hoping a small family business would be more customer friendly than what I experienced. So the star reflects more on their service than the bedding. The cotton is thin for that price.”

I have checked the call logs and will talk to the member of staff in the shop who you spoke to about the conversation. I am not aware of the conversation, but happy to talk to you if you would like to call our customer service number 01865891773 - this is our online number. Customers can use this number which is where we can advise more about the products we have, or by email which is 24/7 on contact@maisonwhite.co.uk - Our shop is run separately and whilst they can help with a few limited things, any online or product enquiries would be handled by our website team and perhaps they should have asked you to call us or email us. The throw isnt something we stock so unfortunately we cannot help you with this purchase of this particular item, but we would be more than happy to chat if you'd like to discuss your disappointing experience.
