“First time user. Excellent range of goods in catalogue. Found what I wanted and order was dispatched promptly. Unfortunately one of five items was defective and I used the customer services e-mail address to report this and get a returns label. My complaint is that I got no response at all to this and after three days I phoned Lycos. Then the matter was resolved very quickly and I had a replacement the following day. Lycos should not give an e-mail option for returns if the service is not operational.”
