Have not yet received my order - understood when it was placed that the item was out of stock + have been advised that delivery will now be 14.3.11

I thought Lyco's site was very easy to use, and it was nice just being able to purchase a few bulbs for my self without having to open an account or having to order in bulk. The bulbs i wanted i could not find anywhere else except Lyco so i was very happy, Thank you.

My order was placed online, processed, despatched and delivered very quickly indeed. As the ordered goods were glass (circular fluorescent tubes), at the outset, I have visions of receiveing a box of broken glass. My fears were unfounded. The goods arrived safe and sound and very well packed. This was my first experience with Lyco and as a result, would definately consider using them again in specific, certain circumstances.

good for a wide range of lighting but I purchased from them because they were offering 20% off but when I checked my credit card they had charged me the full amount

Claire I am sorry that you did not receive a 20% discount on this product, we do state that some products are excluded from this offer and unfortunately this item is one of the exclusions, however 85% of our web items were included in the discount. Lyco is reliable and slightly more expensive than elsewhere. DHL, the carrier, is not very good. They appear to think that all customers have to do in life is to wait at home for DHL to deliver goods and get a signature. I cannot remember a time when DHL managed to deliver something at the first attempt. Getting a delivery has always involved me in further hassle. They are a significant disincentive to buying off Lyco. When ordering, perhaps there needs to be a facility for customers to indicate what the carrier should do if the customer is not at home?

Thank you for your feedback, we do take all comments in to consideration when planning improvements to our service. Unfortunately a parcel has to be signed for, you can however select your delivery address so you could have it delivered to a place of work or to a neighbour. Kim Puttick Sales Office Manager

I placed my first order on 22/3/11, and was told it was next day delivery. today (30/3/11) I have had nothing but the invoice. An e-mail enquiry has yielded nothing, so you might guess I'm not impressed!
