The Crompton dimmable bulbs constantly flicker unless dimmed to a level that does not provide adequate light, not a product that could be recommended.

Goods damaged at least 6 bulbs broken . Many more not working. LED light won't light up

Order placed for four items on 15/07/19. Advised one item on back order, the other three items dispatched. Delivery took place 19/07/19 but only two items notwithstanding the despatch note showing three. Immediately notified shortage but got no reply. Notified again21/7/19 and the response advised they would check with the warehouse and respond within a few hours. Despite a further e-mail still no response and this is the30/07/19. Can confirm however the back order was delivered on time.

Ordered light bulbs from you , it asks make , and length with or without pins , measured with pins, order the items , delivered , go to put bulbs in too long , so why if it's a T4 bulb it don't fit ? don't it say on the items not suitable for every housing ?? If it had said that I would not of ordered , now trying to send back , have emailed you no answer ? And you want me to pay for postage , please be more honest on you selling page , I think I was totally Miss sold these bulbs , and you need to get back to me asap to send someone to pick them up

Unfortunately Tracy there is no industry standard for the length of a T4 tube.   The term T4 denotes the diametre of the tube and not the length,  hence we stipulate on the first bullet point adjacent to the image that the product is specifically designed for use with the Eterna brand under-cabinet lighting.   In the event customers are hesitant regarding ordering the correct item we would suggest they contact our Technical Team who will be very willing to advise. They can be contacted via phone, web message or email and so ensure the correct choices are made.   We responded to your initial email some three days ago at 13:43 on 3rd July, perhaps you have overlooked this.   Thank you for taking the time to comment. Paid extra for the delivery before 12 service. No delivery before 12. When I explained I had to pay for my electrician's time but had nothing for him to do their response was: "It was nothing to do with us it was the couriers fault" (despite me paying them an additional £8 for the early delivery service). When I asked if they could refund my electrician the answer was NO. AVOID

The item I purchased was inadequately protected within the outside box. As a result, the item was broken and had to be returned - at cost to me.

I cancelled the order 5 mins after placing it as realised they were not long enough, I?ve had to pay £7 returning them!

Lyco is basically lightingdirect.co.uk. Place an order for a Nordlux Funk 22 Semi-Opaque Ceiling Pendant Shade - Yellow. Description of product; Funk series of contemporary acrylic shades is available in either transparent or semi opaque, white inner finishes in a selection of colours Available in two size options, smaller Funk 22 and larger Funk 27 series Co-ordinating, contemporary pendant ceiling sockets are also available, update your look by using independently or with Funk series shades Shades are recommended for use with max 25W bulbs. On delivery I recieved someone else's order and called at a cost to myself as their number 0843 317 7824 is not a free number; I was informed that this had been an error and was originally instructed to repackage and return the incorrect item I had recieved and only then would be sent the correct item which I had ordered. Clearly I objected and only then was I told to dispose of the item rather than return it. A next day delivery was then arranged for a new item causing significant difficulties to myself. But still I did not complain. On delivery I discovered that the item could not be used as I had not purchased the separately available ceiling pendant. The product description failed to notify adequately that the shade MUST be purchased and used with the available to purchase separately ceiling pendant; that it CAN NOT be used without it, as the shade will not fit a standard ceiling pendant; this incurs an addition free of £16.99 on top of the initial outlay of £44.99 for the shade, equating to a full purchase price of £61.98 plus an additional £3.99 where applicable. I again called Lyco/ lighting direct and was told that I would now have to return the item myself at my own cost. Noting that the description really had been inadequate I then complained and was put through to Patricia whom was rude agreesive and adamant that not only did I need to return it myself she refunded to give me access to the return services described on the website. I tried to explain to her to previous issues that I had encountered she had no interest in listening to the customer, I informed her that I would review the service I was being provided with by them. As a housebound disabled customer I was unable to use easily other return service and the call was very distressing and found Patricia to be extremely disrespectful. I Later I received a call where Patricia claiming that she would now agree to a collection as she said she had been told of the previous delivery issues I had encountered, I agreed and waited for a collection and then refund. I emailed on the following Monday after the collection on the previous Thursday to chase the refund and was assured that this would be actioned in full no-later than the Friday coming. I did not recieve any monies so I had to send a warning letter advising them that they must refund with 14 days of receipt of the returned goods. I received a cryptic email claiming that I had been refunded in two parts clearing they had intended to try and charge me for the return, she claimed she would get back to me; she did not. It took the full two weeks after they had the returns goods to get a full refund. I would avoid this company's they are rude unprofessional and when matters go wrong, you will not be treated respectfully, overwhelmingly dissatisfied and disappointed. I will never use them again.

We made an error in our warehouse and a package destined for another customer was sent to you instead for which we apologised at the time and apologise again now.  It is our recollection that immediately you made us aware of the mistake, we raised an order for replacement goods to be dispatched to you on an upgraded delivery service.  If you check the tracking information provided you will note the date the replacement order was dispatched and the timed delivery service used.  This was to ensure minimal disruption to you ? we had made a mistake and we endeavoured to put it right as quickly as possible.   You misunderstood the information on the website with regard to the Funk Pendant and the related product, Funk Shade. This pendant can be used on its own as we supply very decorative bulbs to suit.  Alternatively it can be used with the bespoke shade.  We do not advertise this particular shade as being suitable for any other fitting other than the Nordlux Funk Ceiling Pendant.   You unfortunately misread the information and purchased the shade for use with a fitting other than it was intended for and thus for some reason seem to believe we were at fault and conveyed this to several members of the team at various times.   We understood your frustration at having made an error with your purchase choice and tried to assist by explaining how the item could be returned to us for refund.  Either we could arrange FedEx to collect at a competitive charge  or you could make your own arrangements.  All returns are processed for refund chronologically and within the time frame set out on our website, as was yours.  Many refunds are processed within days of items being sent back to us. To be fair to all our customers we could not fast track your return as you requested.   I am sorry you appear to be so unhappy with us.  We work very hard at providing customer service excellence therefore reviews such as yours are very disappointing given we tried our best to understand and help you. disapppinting delivery experience. Day off work & no parcel. 3 days later a very tatter parcel turned up. I was promised a refund on the carriage. Surprise I am still waiting. Not the best experience when chasing up the delivery with customer support.

Bought the wrong thing or more accurately, a part without the rest which is useless. Advert misleading, I thought. I am very careful about what I buy, buy a lot online and this is the first time I've ever felt so aggravated. Not a lot of money but very annoyed.
