Deliver as expected. Had products previously and delivery was as promised.Paid extra for express delivery (1-2 days) Friday (order within next 2 hours receive it sat 23rd) and told it should arrive between 6-8pm tonight (wed). Not impressed

To actually deliver the goods. I think they were let down by APC the carriers. I paid for fast delivery but seven days later customer service still couldn't tell me where the goods were. Five stars for refunding my money.

What a shambles, especially customer services. Used Lyco for over 20 years and always respected the products and service, what has happened? Reading other reviews seems I am not alone but thats what the customer services manager accused me of, in a horrid e mail, saying I was not understanding of the present situation in the UK, she has no idea of my situation and I would not stoop that low to excuse anything let alone what has been a shambles to order a few items, over 35 emails so far, certainly not worth the effort to then get abuse from what is supposed to be the manager. Charles Barnett would not be best pleased to know what is happening. Best avoid Lyco group and other companies until they can rebuild the team to the standard they used to have, bring back Laura!!

The item I purchased was inadequately protected within the outside box. As a result, the item was broken and had to be returned - at cost to me.

The lamps are a disaster. They flicker - intermittently. Have tried all lamps in different places but no luck. One hour flicker - 2 hours ok - flicker again..... Fortunately I kept the halogens. Unfortunately I threw the packaging away for the LED replacements so can't return them

Utter farce, first order not delivered, i had to re-order, 75% of what i wanted was now out of stock, re-ordered what was available and this wasn't delivered either! Email sent to customer services , and 6 days later still no response.

I'm still waiting for delivery. I apprecaite that the current lockdown is impacting delivery schedules but I received an email from your courier saying it would arrive on 07/04/2020 at 4pm, but I'm still waiting. Unfortunately i can't get an answer to any of my phone calls.

their Couriers are to blame ,i was out they left no note ,i wouldnt of known if i hadnt looked at my emails,! your firm wanted me to chase up , i refused, wanted my money back but was told they would have to resend to a house which again i wouldnt be in !!!! EVENTUALLY ONE OF YOUR STAFF SAID I WOULD BE REFUNDED, all in all a lot of mither over two £12 bulbs, not good guys in my honest opinion.............

I placed my order and later received an email saying it had shipped with Apc for delivery 2 days later and a tracking number.. Shortly after I got another email saying it had shipped with Hermes. The delivery didn't arrive so I gave it another day just in case, but it still didn't arrive. I looked up the tracking that said it was in APC warehouse so I contacted Lyco by email. I got a response later that day showing my address and asking if it was correct as the Apc were apparently struggling to find me. That was as much as Lyco did for me and I finally managed to get APC to deliver it on 2nd April. It should have been delivered on 23rd March. I contacted Apc on three separate occasions and each time they said it would be sent out next day and blamed agency drivers they were using for non delivery, but it didn't arrive on any of those dates. In between I had emailed Lyco to ask them what they were doing to help me get this delivered but they didn't bother to reply, I was on my own. In summary my beef with Lyco is that even though I asked them to assist, they didn't even have the courtesy to reply and left me to try and sort it out. So, Customer service is a waste of time and I won't be using them again.

I am quite shocked, it seems I should never have trusted this company because not only did I pay a lot for P&P for 4 very small items I never received my purchase. It's been a week since I paid immediately via Paypal. Other than the order confirmation I haven't received any other emails either to say there's a delay or my order is on its way, nothing. I'm very upset right now.

Please accept our sincere apologies. Your order was received by us at 13:59 on 10th March and picked and packed on the same day. After investigating, it appears to have gone astray in transit. We have now arranged for a replacement order to be sent out on our express service to reach you within two days. Ordered spotlights, however they were unsuitable for my project. This is where I have a problem, to return these item you have to use there courier with an authorization number, however the courier they use is Myhermes, which is the same courier that delivered the items (1 working day), which we had no problems with. On returning via Myhermes, Lyco have advised it can take 14 working days to get to them, seems utterly ridiculous, so any item you are returning, be ready to wait 4 weeks for a refund!. Got charged delivery because I allegedly stay in the Highlands and Islands. I stay in mainland Scotland just over the border. I am at least 5 hours from the Highlands. They obviously have geography issues. I phoned up to complain and was told that was the charge so literally it was tuff luck. This is surely miss leading. I got told it was the delivery companies issue and was nothing to do with Lyco. Well i am buying from Lyco so I would expect them to be responsible ????

Thank you for taking the time to offer feedback. Our delivery charges are set out clearly on our website for customers to view prior to placing an order, and not incorporated into the price of the products. In many cases delivery is free of charge depending on the service required. Some areas unfortunately attract a slightly higher cost and these areas are designated by the carrier companies in question. We do however subsidise all delivery costs. Light delivered promptly, but found to be faulty on installation. Called to return the next working day and issued with a returns number and told the item would be collected as the returns label website was down. The light is still in our reception awaiting collection. I have sent two further emails, but no response..Pretty poor service i would say.

I am sorry you feel we have let down. We were initially contacted 5 working days ago at which time we immediately emailed the necessary returns instructions. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding but we have been waiting for a convenient date to be provided by you to allow us to book the collection with the carrier.
