“I ordered a pair of sandals which were too tight around the toe area. I requested a return label from lotus. The company have deducted 6.95 from my refund even though their website states £3 will be deducted. I paid £3.95 postage to receive them. This is unacceptable and I am still waiting for an explanation and refund ?”

“This was a beautiful looking sandal of tan and gold and having bought Lotus leather boots thought they’d be ideal. They were standard for size 7 which were way too small for me and even too small for my size 51/2 daughter. Hugely disappointed and returned them”

“Very disappointed with service at Lotus shoes. I ordered a pair of shoes online and when delivered there were faulty so returned them. They have charged me £6.95 in delivery/return charges, please be warned. Will NEVER buy from them again.”

“I wore the shoes for the first time to a graduation and the right foot literally fell apart. I had to rush to the nearest town and buy another pair of shoes. I was absolutely horrified. Customer services were really good and are refunding my money but it doesn’t take away from the stress it caused”

“Wrong size sent. Correct size on box, incorrect shoes inside. Returns process difficult, as it wouldn't accept my address. I won't be surprised if I'm charged £3 return fee, which I shouldn't be.”

“Still not received shoes I have tried to contact Royal Mail without success I am going into their local delivery office tomorrow (closed today) Their tracking app says they were delivered on28th Their proof of delivery a pair of feet on a path! “I am very disappointed with my experience. I ordered the Green Trento Open Toe Mule Sandals (Order LOT108951) but received the wrong colour (white). This was clearly a fulfilment mistake on their side. Because I live in Ireland and the item was delivered to the UK first due to high shipping costs, returning it now would require international shipping and additional fees. Despite explaining this, customer service refused to offer a reasonable solution or cover the return costs. Very poor customer service and no accountability for their own error. I would not recommend ordering from this company.”

“Hello, I purchased this 2 pairs of ankle boots. During the last years I have bought at least 5 different styles and colors of the Athens style ankle boots with the 6.5 cm heel. They are so elegant and comfy. I can wear them for hours since the first day and never feel tired. However the Eva Boots although very beautiful they turned out to be quite narrow and too high the heel for me. Unfurtunately I proceeded to its return. If there is a pair of ankle boots in tan colour Nr 5 with 6.5 cm heel I would be interested in buying. Thank you.”

“Ordered size 42 which is what I always order for my husband. However, the latest ones were far too small. He couldn’t even get his feet into them. Soooo disappointed. Returning them, and having to pay for the privilege of doing so. I would have ordered a larger size , unfortunately l think I would have had to order at least 2 sizes larger. Didn’t want to risk having to pay to return again. Plus your packaging was far too small to return them in.”

“They are advertised as 8/42 on the size chart but are in fact 8/41 which is too small. I then had to pay to return. If I had know this I wouldn’t have bought in the first place. Very annoying. Reply from Lotus says it’s a general guide-but it’s not correct 😠”

“Suitable only for those with insect size legs! These boots are so narrow in the leg, impossible to get on. Very disappointing. I won't be trying any more as I begrudge paying to return them. I'll buy from companies who don't charge for returns.”
