Applied for a mortgage, informed by adviser it would be straight forward. However, adviser was very slow in sorting out mortgage that the seller took the property off the market as the process was taking to long. Applying for a remortgage on a property, been trying to sort this out with various advisers. Started at the start of the year and still trying to sort it out. Is this a good service or what,

I was a first time buyer who was struggling to find a mortgage by myself so i got in touch with London and country mortgages who gave me some fantastic advice. I went on to get my mortgage through them and the whole process was so easy and stress free. My mortgage advisor was well knowledgeable and was always on hand to contact when i needed. They kept me up to date with the whole process and were very supportive when we hit a wall in the process and gave advice on how to get through it.

This is the second time I have used London & Country Mortgages and this is because the service given is second to none The staff I dealt with, James Park and Kirsty Armour were extremely courteous, friendly and most of all efficient.

L&C took all of the stress away from organising the purchase of our first house. They suggested mortgage providers, building insurers, life insurers and solicitors, and ensured that everything ran smoothly and quickly.

I rang in search of advice about buy to let mortgages and received very short answers with no solution or advice despite being able to afford a 15% deposit I was told only 25% would be enough. Despite it saying otherwise on the website. No solutions were offered. On top of this I was continually referred to as mate which I really didn't feel was appropriate.

Good phone responses: either answered directly or within 12 hours. Found a mortgage which answered each of my specifications. Explained my options clearly.
