Our main business is helping home owners and home buyers make contact with Building Surveyors, Structural Engineers, Architects, Domestic Energy Assessors, Electricians, Drainage Contractors and other people providing property related services. In addition to domestic property we also provide a comprehensive range of services for commercial property. These services are provided over the whole of the United Kingdom by a comprehensive network of suppliers which has been steadily built up since the website first started operating in 2005.

“Everything went wrong . I hired Steve Vaughan who is not even an Architect and I never got a good advise. He took payment upfront . .Please don't use local surveyors direct . They are not helpful”

“I searched for a Architect but I got Someone who provides Architectural services but he is not a Architect. Resulting I didn't got a good advise and my plans rejected. I have been trying so I can speak to local survey people who run this website but no phone nos to contact”

“A breach in security gave my email address to someone who emailed me without my permission. My email should have been removed, yet you have emailed!!”

Hi - we are very sorry to say we did suffer a security breach of our website, wbhich resulted in some email addresses being captured. No other data was taken. Our security team have since found and repaired the breach. We took the decision to email everyone that had been affected by this breach, to make them aware of the situation. Usually we only use our Customers' email addresses to send them details of local Suppliers, and then to request Feedback - but in this case we felt that it was important that we let people know what happened and the potential consequences of this. Please accept our apologies for this.

“Every surveyor in the country was given my details. I had 2 dozen calls from people looking for the work. One person from Manchester called even though the job was in Hampshire! There was nothing in bold to say your details will be passed to the countries surveyors! To top it off, there was a security breech and my email was taken by some 'woman' looking for sex! Do not use this! It is a waste of time!”

Hi, Thanks for your comments. We only pass your information on to a maximum of 8 Suppliers in your area. Our website does state that we will do this, but we will look into making this clearer for our Customers. “Although the surveyor agreed to attend the site, several excuses to defer survey were apparently given, e.g., bats and asbestos in Little Logmore buildings, which were to be demolished. The result is that demolition has been completed and no survey has been carried out of the two adjacent properties. It seems that this virtually nullifies the intended purpose of any survey. Surely, surveys are required of adjacent neighbours' properties, according to law?! So, is this not a contravention of law?”

“I only wanted a 3phase plug re wiring the quote was so complicated would have thought I wanted a housing estate rewired. Quoted in excess of £250.00 actual cost by different electrician £62.50”

“I recently being cheated by a so call surveyor recommended by your website ,I thought at least their qualification has been checked and registered ? Before they could be recommended to the clients? Thus reduce distress and any loss of money! But it was too late for me, but a lesson to your company to check thoroughly before using any surveyors !”

“1. My search was for RICS surveyors and not all were RICS. 2. I hate cold calling and immediately after the search I received a spate of unwanted phone calls. All I wanted was a list and contact details so that I could contact my chosen surveyors. I won't use your site again.”

“Approached by several surveyors. Many of which were on the high end of the market and another that had been recently tried by RICS for poor treatment of customers and poor representation of RICS standards. Not impressed!”

“Contacted two of the firms who quoted for carrying out a Property Survey and to date (nr 2 weeks on) neither have responded. Pointless quoting if they then don't answer emails.”

“Did not deliver the report. It was promised within 5 days. I am at the risk of loosing the property or paying stamp duty. Called carley at the office. She agreed to call back within mins. She did not rerun the call Cannot deliver to the expectation. Not treating customers fairly”
