“not up to date info MMC NOT AVAILABLE SMT Electrical £25 to come out than £25 an hour plus parts I need someone just to come and look Ihave had no hot water for weeks and am getting tired of boiling the kettle to have a wash please help”

“Only wanted an online quote, now being emailed and called relentlessly by 'suppliers' miles away. Site is misleading and not clear enough that they will pass all your details on to multiple suppliers. Avoid.”

“it was annoying to be contacted by loads of conveyancing companies all trying to fight for my business. as a result i turned my phone off and came back to 6 messages all badgering me to go with their firm. annoying”

“all your site did was to provide 5 names and contacts for electricians, which I could have found in yellow pages without having to give all my details including details of the work required..£ of them were nowhere near Pudsey ( the location of the work and no one got back to me A totalwaste of time. will not be recommending you”

“this whole thing has been a waste of time, i wanted quotes for a survey of the house i want to buy NOT conveyancing quotes. Localsurveyorsdirect is obviously a misleading title and not what it says on the tin”

“I was very impressed to initially receive 5 names to contact within minutes of my request. However, was disappointed no-one made contact with me so I phoned and emailed each company. Again no-one returned my calls or emails. I eventually found out that the prices quoted on the site were unrealistic and at least a third cheaper than the correct cost.”

“All I wanted was architect plans for conversion of garage to submit to council. The prices quoted were exorbitant started at just under £1000 to well over. Getting mine done for under £500 from a local architect used before. Tip do not use this site ask a builder for some quote's and ask them if they can recommend.”

“It's not that the comparison service is poor (it's actually very quick and easy to use) it's just annoying that you are immediately inundated with surveyors over email and phone. Which continues for days. Consider using your nemesis' contact details if you want to use the service.”

“Surveyors were not local. I was tempted by one conveyancer until I read terrible reviews on another site. I have gone with my estate agent's recommendations. Service is more important than cost In this instance.”

“There were no tel no to call I had to google the company name to get tel no when I did call there was no answere. Left msg 3 days in no call back. Others I had to email them as there was no tel no s And still waiting reply. Si over all this service was a waste of time.”
