Our main business is helping home owners and home buyers make contact with Building Surveyors, Structural Engineers, Architects, Domestic Energy Assessors, Electricians, Drainage Contractors and other people providing property related services. In addition to domestic property we also provide a comprehensive range of services for commercial property. These services are provided over the whole of the United Kingdom by a comprehensive network of suppliers which has been steadily built up since the website first started operating in 2005.

“I am extremely disappointed that my details were shared with the surveyors. I wanted to compare quotes, not to send out my details to multiple companies. I spent all morning being bombarded with calls and emails, and who knows how many mailings lists I have been subscribed to as a result. A very poor experience indeed.”

“so far there are no local surveyors on your list that are recognised Also as professionals either FRICS or RICS it is surprising that the surveyors listed don't show the qualifications noted. Indeed it has always been difficult for a lay person to contact RICS who appear to be a closed society not open or transparent to the public.”

“When asking for contact details you feel that you are using service like a Yellow phone directory. You are given the option to contact the companies/individuals you are have provided details on in order to obtain their services. Under no circumstances under the phone directory are they given your details to contact you - this is cold calling and not acceptable under any circumstances. Your website is misleading in not making this clear as we would not have used it should we have been aware.”

“The quotations I received were all grossly under the actual cost of the homebuyers report - going by the surveyors suggested it would have costed me £145 more than what was quoted. Also, the quotes received never said whether it was vat included.”

I did not expect to receive UNSOLICITED EMAILS from several other companies to whom you appear to have passed on our details as well as a description of the work required, and in whom we have no interest. This is a clear breach of Data Protection. Amongst these was a company who emailed a quotation more than TEN TIMES higher than the five companies whose details we were given in our web search. This Southampton-based company - we are in London - was not one of them. We shall not be visiting your site again.”
