In addition to domestic property we also provide a comprehensive range of services for commercial property. These services are provided over the whole of the United Kingdom by a comprehensive network of suppliers which has been steadily built up since the website first started operating in 2005.

“Fed up with silent phone calls from Quotadis?? - now got through and complained. Very rude woman who spoke like a headmistress who had no business having or dialing our phone number. Who are they anyway!?, Now they are abusing my ex directory number and refuse to take our number off their database. They are not the company I asked to quote so why are we now pestered by them? I asked local surveyors direct to quote and they did but now I am being pestered by Quotadis and their very rude staff. Do not use this website”

“The structural engineers are reluctant to provide a correct report, as soon as they realise that another engineer has provided a false report and they do not wish to contradict their colleagues, even though the colleague had been false. I called one engineer and asked him only to measure a bulge in a wall. He asked me if I wanted a favour. I replied no, all I want is that you measure the wall and the dimensions of the bulge, that is a fact. I sent him photographs of the wall, in order that he provides an estimate, he did not send the estimate. Unfortunately all the structural engineers behaved in the same way. As I am not at all familiar with this way of working, I can not recommend any of them in your list. Many thanks”

“You came up with a few architects. One was fairly local. I sent an email asking if he did what I wanted. I received a standard reply letter, probably of the type you mention might be sent. I made 3 calls, and left one message. To date I have still not received any response. Could it be that my job was to small. I did specify a small job. If they advertise with you why is there no response. I do not under stand.”

“I signed a party wall agreement with a surveyor a while back and can't find my paperwork so I thought if I did a search of local surveyors, a name might ring a bell. However the greedy little website wants all your details before providing any such names and therefore wastes the time of the excited little surveyors hoping for a new job who then call you. If I'd have wanted a surveyor to call me, I would have said so but no, you want all my personal details first. Maybe amend the website so that it's not so black and white.”

“The property was outside the advertised area of two of your first three recommendations, and the other gave no indication of his qualifications or insurance cover on his website. I didn't check the fourth and fifth recommendations as they were even further away.”

“I am extremely disappointed that my details were shared with the surveyors. I wanted to compare quotes, not to send out my details to multiple companies. I spent all morning being bombarded with calls and emails, and who knows how many mailings lists I have been subscribed to as a result. A very poor experience indeed.”

“so far there are no local surveyors on your list that are recognised Also as professionals either FRICS or RICS it is surprising that the surveyors listed don't show the qualifications noted. Indeed it has always been difficult for a lay person to contact RICS who appear to be a closed society not open or transparent to the public.”

“When asking for contact details you feel that you are using service like a Yellow phone directory. You are given the option to contact the companies/individuals you are have provided details on in order to obtain their services. Under no circumstances under the phone directory are they given your details to contact you - this is cold calling and not acceptable under any circumstances. Your website is misleading in not making this clear as we would not have used it should we have been aware.”

“I have had one electricians who came to the house a week ago to give a quote, haven't heard from him since, despite emailing and I emailed another local one who hasn't come back to me at all! I am trying one last electrician today, fingers crossed!”
