“I found a surveyor and arranged the survey but found the quote I got from your site was nothing like the amount I had to eventually pay, by quite a bit more and I did question it, seems your site is a bit out of date with estimates. So I wasn't too impressed.”

Hi, I am sorry you did not get more accurate estimates from our website. We ask all of the Surveyors listed on our site to set their prices to be as close as possible to the price they are actually going to charge. It appears that on this occasion they did not do this, so we will try and make it clearer to the Surveyors that they need to do this in future.

“We were looking for a surveyor to check out a new home and didn't know where to start. I found Local Surveys Direct on the net and after filling in an online form I received quotes from 6 or so Surveyors. It saved me a lot of hassle going through the same info and form filling with all of these people and I could make a choice on a like for like basis.”

“It was quick and easy to get a quote from a number of local surveyors. The information given about them all was well laid out and easy to use. I was very pleased not to have to give my phone number as I felt more in control of whether I contacted the companies who gave quotes or not.”

“Very efficient and a quick turnaround in agreeing the date and time for a survey. Surveyor arrived on time (in fact a few minutes before the agreed time) and was thorough and very clear on the process he would follow. Report was issued within 2 working days of the actual survey. Although when the report was issued there was 1 amendment needed, the modified report was reissued within 30 minutes of a phone call.”
