In addition to domestic property we also provide a comprehensive range of services for commercial property. “Reading the info it stated surveying the property takes couple of hrs for a homebuyers report your first recommendation took 15-20 minutes for a homebuyers report and out the door he went”

“connected me with a surveyor. let's see how they go. O i thought this website review would have a downsides section too, not just the "what made you happy" bit. knock another star off for almost biasing the results. Downsides are that the comparison listing didn't hyperlink / refer to any websites, only some contact details e.g. phone numbers and had to scroll right down to see those almost missed them. not all answering quickly maybe old or not ideal details. &One apparently listing wrong prices so a waste of my time, after this guy not responding to emails for 3 days. Obviously this isn't the comparison site's fault or maybe it is if they're not bothering to suitably police the contacts they appear to be recommending.”

“Explained exactly my conveyancing needs and you gave several estimates for the job. I chose one of the firms and restated my conveyancing needs as before and explained that I had an estimate through your website. Lawcomm were the firm I chose and they said the couldn't possibly do the job for the price estimate but would be prepared to give me a new price. Very little point in getting a price through your website when it is not honoured by the participating firms.”

“Yes they will list you a surveyor. They will also sell your e mail and phone number to quite a list, so you will be bombarded with calls and emailsfrom conveyancers, mortgage brokers for quite a few days. Never use them again”

“Two of the five quotes were inaccurate. Possibly under pricing to obtain the work. Unique Solicitors quoted stamp duty around £3,500 less than it should be. Bespoke Law Services Quote not only had the stamp duty wrong they made gross errors when showing VAT payable. Again less than it actually was. If these are the kind of conveyancers you have on your books for quotes I would rather look elsewhere.”

“on the day we moved in, towels wrapped around stop cock under kitchen sink highlighted major leak. When stop cock turned on water flooded kitchen floor and cupboards under sink. Neither cistern worked, Three faulty taps (one in kitchen - which must have been leaking for months) two bathroom taps leaking needed replacing. For the first week to ten days plumbing was unusable - repairs and replacement taps cost us in excess of £300!! Electric ceramic hob not working - cost us £230 to replace. Whilst we recognise that the hob could have blown at any time, our plumber highlighted the fact that there was obvious long term interior water damage to the kitchen units. Surely the surveyor would have spotted this if she / he had opened the cupboard door!!!. Also she /he must have seen the leaking kitchen tap (unless the water had been deliberately turned off!!!!) With Christmas looming, we needed to carry out the repairs and had no time to make a formal complaint. Our solicitor had suggested claiming compensation from the surveyor whose report does not mention any such problems. I will also be sending a similar complaint to the commissioning company Goldcrest and would appreciate you forwarding a copy of this to them. Robert and Marlene Davies”

“I found a surveyor and arranged the survey but found the quote I got from your site was nothing like the amount I had to eventually pay, by quite a bit more and I did question it, seems your site is a bit out of date with estimates. So I wasn't too impressed.”

Hi, I am sorry you did not get more accurate estimates from our website. We ask all of the Surveyors listed on our site to set their prices to be as close as possible to the price they are actually going to charge. It appears that on this occasion they did not do this, so we will try and make it clearer to the Surveyors that they need to do this in future.

“The system's good and I had already sent my request to my chosen firm as they were writing to me asking what I needed (this was after hours, as well, so impressive). But not to have a reply after that from the firm is very poor. Obviously too 'small fry' for them, and I'll stick to the usual source (which is the village Facebook page) for recommendations. I won't be using you again.”

Hi - we are sorry to hear that you have received more calls than you were expecting. We supply the details of up to 8 Suppliers in each area, and we give them your contact details as Feedback from our Customers suggests that they would rather the Supplier contact them directly. If you would rather not be called - the website suggests that you enter "0000" as a phone number, as this means the Suppliers will not contact you.
