Our main business is helping home owners and home buyers make contact with Building Surveyors, Structural Engineers, Architects, Domestic Energy Assessors, Electricians, Drainage Contractors and other people providing property related services. In addition to domestic property we also provide a comprehensive range of services for commercial property. These services are provided over the whole of the United Kingdom by a comprehensive network of suppliers which has been steadily built up since the website first started operating in 2005.

“Whilst it listed quite a fewl companies, I was then contacted by several by phone & e mail which was a bit of a pain. I would rather I was left to select who to use in peace. The outcome was that I did not use any of the companies that were listed”

“Used the service to provide a brief and get some contacts to consider for project, however, none of the information we submitted seems to have been passed to the suppliers who are contacting us. Why take the time to provide information upfront if noe of it is going to be passed onto to people??”

“I was pleased to receive a list of professionals in the field I require help in, but frankly appalled that my contact details had been made available to others, especially at a time when the rules on such activities have been tightened. I'm the new climateI I would have had to asked for that to happen. I did not.”

“The site said that you would see a list and get to select from that. While this is true they also send your details to all the companies who then contact you which for me was unexpected spam as I was simply looking for approximate quotes at the time.”

“Whilst I received quotes, my contact details were passed on directly and I was bombarded with phone calls and text messages. Email is ok but there should be an option to opt out of recieving direct phone calls.”

Hi - we are sorry to hear you were bombarded with phone calls and text messages. We only ever pass your details on to a maximum of 8 Suppliers - so please be assured that you should not receive any more calls. We do give the option for Customers not to provide their phone number - and to enter "0000" instead. It looks like we need to make this feature clearer - so we can make sure that our Customers only receive calls when they want them.

“I didn't want to be pestered by various surveyors phoning or emailing to get me to sign up. Disappointed to find out separately that one of the companies was actually struck of RICS last year! That suggests the vetting procedure is poor.”

“Just got a lot of irrevant correspondance from companies thinking I was buying and needed a survey’s report. I never said i was buying. Show me the proof if you think i stated that. Otherwise a great site.”

“Some of the contractors listed were ones that I had already contacted and who had not bothered to get back to me. I decided to wait and see if any of the others would get in touch and one did, and they have visited to give me a quote.”
