Our main business is helping home owners and home buyers make contact with Building Surveyors, Structural Engineers, Architects, Domestic Energy Assessors, Electricians, Drainage Contractors and other people providing property related services. In addition to domestic property we also provide a comprehensive range of services for commercial property. These services are provided over the whole of the United Kingdom by a comprehensive network of suppliers which has been steadily built up since the website first started operating in 2005.

We are very sorry to hear that you were not happy with us passing on your details to Suppliers. Please let me reassure you that your details are only passed to a maximum of 8 suppliers in your local area, as clearly stated on the website. We do not sell on your information to any other third parties and we do not add you to a mailing list. If you do not want to enter a phone number, you are able to enter 0000 to ensure that Suppliers know you do not wish to be called. We find that most of our Customers are happy that the Suppliers are contacting them, as it makes the process much easier for them. We appreciate that you would rather have contacted the Suppliers directly yourself, and hopefully the email we sent to you with all the relevant Supplier contact details in will have been of use to you.

“LRM Electrics NICEIC Approved Contractor - Do Not use. Incompetent. Does not know what is required to be checked for and Electrical condition report. I knew about the BS7671 standard at the end of dealing with him than what he does. I had to call the NICEIC many times to check his findings and requirements he set out as some were absurd. Wanted me to spend money on things not required by law. ie 500.00 to replace smoke alarm bases when you do not have to by law. I had to get another electrician in to re-do the electrical tests and certificates again. He cost me double. DO NOT USE”

“Sends your details out to ALL local surveyors who will then email/call you. Which is incredibly frustrating when you're just looking.. comparison sites should be platforms for people to contact who's they want to use themselves not sites for farming personal details.”

“As soon as I had requested an online quote comparison I was inundated with phone calls and emails from numerous surveying companies. I had not consented to my contact details being passed on to any extraneous companies. I was expecting to receive an automatic list of prices from which I could look at reviews before making a decision and contact the company myself, rather than be hounded by every company in the area.”
