Item arrived on time as scheduled and was well packaged and received . Was delighted with the fact that they stocked the light shade that I wanted and it was well priced . Will definitely use this company again .

Very disappointed indeed after ordering 2 lights for my lounge and only receiving one and having a live chat with Matt yesterday who assured me it would be here today and yet again it hasn’t arrived. Not a happy bunny as I have just moved into my property and all there is in my lounge is 2 light bulbs !! I was going to buy a light for my bedroom Aswell but have changed my mind in fact I would like to return the 1 light that did arrive as it’s no good on its own 😤

We are so sorry for what happened. Two lights were dispatched however one went missing in transit unfortunately while with the carriers. This is a rare occurrence but very frustrating for all concerned. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused you. The Customer Service Team

Very good value, cheaper than buying similar in my local lighting shop. Bought 4 Searchlight brand outdoor light fittings Half lantern style and smaller discrete down light, all in black. Used express delivery, arrived within a couple of days with Hermes. Securely packaged, Only thing is two of the lightbulbs were not in stock and will be arriving later ? When. I wouldn’t have bought the bulbs if I’d known they were not in stock as could have bought them locally.

Really happy with service and product, delivery within 5 days, which was also well packaged. Their website is extensive, probably covering all lighting requirements and generally is competitively priced compared to the usual high street outlets. Have previously purchased lighting from Lighting Direct on a previous occasion. Recommended!

Efficient web order, good delivery. Company ignored my email / contact prior to order and made no effort to contact me. All paperwork avoids any phone numbers and Lyco number is never answered. As a Trade buyer I cannot work with companies like this.

The product was good, but the customer service is not accessible enough. Instead of just posting me a missing plug, I had to wait a week and receive a whole new product and then go through a returns procedure and exchange too many emails. It shows that the company has little regards for the environment, and the lack of a phone number for customers combined with web forms which are not suitable for UK addresses makes me question where their focus is.

Our focus is 100% on our customer service. Working remotely and other challenges related to covid left us at times temporarily without a full team and resulted in our responses being a little slower than usual. We do not stock component parts of our products hence a replacement set of string lights was sent to you. We are based in Buckinghamshire, UK, so not sure what you mean regarding having "forms" not suitable for UK addresses. The Customer Care Team

This is an excellent light. Well made and first class service from the supplier. It looks good too. My only reservation is that it is not as robust as I would have liked. It is positioned in an exposed position and it will be interesting to see if it survives when the winter gales arrive.

Where do I start, ordered a lamp from lighting direct 6 weeks ago, I was told lamp was out of stock & they were waiting delivery & asked what I would like to do. I requested a refund, my request & ‘9’ emails were ignored. Then I get an email from a delivery company to say my lamp would be delivered on the 11th December, it didn’t arrive. Tried to contact said delivery company with no response, now awaiting response from lighting direct. Not holding out much hope, on receiving my lamp or my £150 refund!

If you have received a request for feedback that indicates your order will have been dispatched and delivered shortly. The light you chose was not in stock at the time of your order as advised on our website. Challenging times have meant that unavoidable delays have occurred. Regular updates are sent to allow customers make the choice between accepting any delay or obtaining a refund. Thank you for taking the time to comment.
