Should not be using Hermes who claim they have delivered.Only the 4 Batteries have arrived. We are locked down and are here all the time.They say they put the parcel through the letter box.Not possible! No indication when they were coming.What day or time,Just they had come. Their depot in York has an awful reputation.Please could you send another picture light etc. Many thanks.

Ordered 6 outside lights stated as in stock on website between Christmas and New Year. First delivery date given 2nd Jan, booked electrician for few days after. Advised by lighting direct there was a delay from their suppliers (according to website IN STOCK). given next delivery date 7th Jan - cancel electricians and rebook them. Advised another delay - cancel electricians who are busy on another job for a few weeks. Eventually all 6 lights arrived BUT 1 the glass is broken. It's now 19th January and the sixth replacement light has at last arrived. I now have a full compliment of lights but no electrician, not sure when he can come. Everyone I spoke to (many phone calls) at lighting direct were very helpful and the broken replacement came very quickly but a bit disappointed with service.

Having been given two different dates for delivery, both of which passed without receipt of goods, I was telephoned to advise that the item was out of stock and had been ever since I placed my order! I was then given a new delivery date of 12th August which was fine as that followed my return from holiday. I stressed that the delivery must not be made before 8th August as we would be away. That request was completely ignored as it was delivered on 31st July to a neighbour. Not impressed!

Bit disappointed on the box it shows Finn's room but no apostrophe included so if I wanted to put a message on for example Pete's birthday I couldn't do this I hope you will take this into consideration many thanks

Courier dropped my light over a 6ft fence smashing glass.... But then customer Services dealt with nicely and sent out a new one the next day.

Several emails regarding delivery including an incorrect link. Delivery days changed a couple of times without explanation. I rang about the bad link and was told someone would reply, this did not happen. I later emailed and that was replied too.

Arrived very quickly. Unfortunately we only opened one of the 2 lights. When electrician opened second box light badly damaged screws and connection box missing. Asked for replacement and cost of electrician but too late, should of reported it asap. Offered 10 per cent. A shame. Scratched and dented light fitting and a couple of quid back, when I do get it. Be sure to check your purchases. Their quality control needs to be looked at.

I ordered two lamps but initially only one arrived. They sorted this quickly and a few days later the other one arrived, although it had rust on it. Tried to contact them again about this but had no reply. It would have been nice to have some acknowledgement the second time around I contacted them.

Delivery was very slow did not receive this item until 9 March 2017. The light seems to be very good shame about the delivery time

The light is ok however the quality for the price could be better also the instructions on installing the light could be better on the plus side the delivery was quick.

Advised that it was sturdier than plaster equivalent light fittings. Not true. Very nice lights though delicate.

Returned the lights as the diameter given was not for the base plate so they were too small.

Very happy with the lamp, the only reason for 3 stars is because the delivery company Lighting direct chose to use did not deliver as it claimed. I had to contact them to find out where it had gone. It had been left outside at the wrong address and I had to walk around to find out where it was.

They could sell at a reasonable price.... wish I'd never started with techmar plug and play it's well too overpriced

Wall light arrived promptly which was great however it did not suit so rang company to ask about a refund. A girl answered who then put me through to some other lady who was very friendly and helpful, said that she would get an email sent out to me the next day (by some other department) and this email would I presume have a returns label to print or at least instructions on how to return. This was on Thursday 21st Nov 19. Wanted to post light back as soon as possible but did not receive email on the Friday and even looked in my spam. It is Mon 25th Nov and I am going to have to ring again and ask for email to be sent to me.
