It was wrong of them to advertise the parts I ordered as "in stock" as I then paid for 48 hour delivery - when the goods did not arrive I called them to find out the status of the order only to be told that they had no goods in stock, although some were "due in" I requested and subsequently received a refund of the additional postage charge, but it should never have been allowed in the first place when the gods were not IN STOCK as confirmed by their CSD operator when I called. Otherwise OK

The delivery was very prompt next day so that was great. It one of the light bulbs was broken so that was frustrating. Also we bought David hunt outdoor bulkhead lights and it did not show or state that the wire would not sit flush whine the light so that was also disappointing as we now. Red to find something to cover the wire so it looks net and they don't get damaged.

My products were delivered promptly although I did not get an adequate response to their delivery notice. I asked for the delivery to be delayed by two days but they did not revise this and the parcel was left when I was away.

I was very concerned that I could not only order two bulbs for the light I was buying but every time I tried to change the quantity it kept defaulting to 5 units. This was very poor.

Wrong lamp supplied. Was told I'd have to pay return postage. Declined as postage could exceed value.

Your service was great so are 3 of the 3 products but the set of 6 eureka lights only 3 work so not very happy with them

I received the bulbs the next day which was excellent. unfortunately one of the bulbs was a small screw rather than a large screw. which meant one of the lights in the room was a different white. I didn't send it back and get a new one as it would have cost me more in delivery than the actual bulb!

Item returned took 3 weeks and 3 phone calls to resolve. Replacement order left by Hermes outside front door in rain. Leave in safe place instructions ignored. Service was quick once return resolved. Website does not allow enough characters to give safe place instructions properly

Waited the right amount of time however stayed in all day that hermes were meant to deliver then to get email that product is too big so will take another 48hrs to arrive maybe look at getting a new courier service so havent received product yet so can't comment on actual light

item turned up in good time but the part of the item was printed letters that could be used to make words or phrases up which would have been lovely if half the letters and icons had not lapped into each other half of a heart on half of a balloon and so on bit gutted as was a gift for my daughter

Not overly happy. Lights look great, service was good as well, but I bought two packs, (12 bulbs in total) and 3 of 12 are not working. 1 didn't work straight out of the box and 2 more not working after 2 days. Waiting to see how many not going to work tonight. Shame as they are lovely looking lights.

Liaise better with supplier on delivery and inspect and review product quality plus ensure product specifications not misleading.

My first outdoor porch light failed to arrive on the allocated day, so I rang LD Customer Services to ask why. Apparently it was on back order and wouldn't be available for another 2 months! This wasn't made apparent at the time of ordering, nor was I notified prior to it's non delivery. So I ordered a different one, which wasn't quite as nice, but was in stock. It's OK, not brilliant, but it'll do. Close, but no cigar.

Your delivery service. I said leave it by water butts to right of door. Apparently FedEx weren't informed of this, and anyway won't do it without a signed disclaimer from the recipient. Their website didn't work properly, so I had some hassle getting it redelivered.

No problem with Lighting Direct, good choice and respond quickly. The problem however is they have chosen Hermes as their delivery partner so you have 50/50 chance of receiving your item and as I have found out it is impossible to use them to return the item, having to find another way of returning it.
