“I received two lights from lightning direct, both look fantastic. One worked fine the other is faulty, on trying to return the light I have tried to use the return portal but doesn’t work. I have now contacted customer services who just repeat the same instructions without any other help or assistance.”

I am sorry if you had difficulty using the returns portal. Not feedback we usually receive. We have tested the information required for the portal , ie order number and postcode, and it works as it should. Entering incorrect details will result in not being able to progress. Customer Care Team

“This is a very stylish and attractive fitting but I am very concerned with the cost of renewing the three AA batteries. After only two evenings, about 8 hours, the light is very poor and it looks as if I will have to replace the batteries every three days or limit the amount of time we can use the light which defeats the object of having it. We feel we should have been warned of this problem and I am considering returning it. Peter Bridgeman”

I am sorry you are disappointed with your purchase. I note batteries were not included with your order so I trust good quality batters such as Duracell are being used which will should make a difference. That said a battery will always have a finite amount of charge and thus battery operated products will need replenishing periodically. The Customer Care Team

“Lights arrived within a few days of ordering which was very good. Unfortunately we received an email the day before delivery telling us that there had been an issue with the manufacturer's and that the lights would be delayed for up to five more weeks. This was not acceptable so emailed a request for a refund. Worrying because we had an electrician booked to fit them. Don't know if this influenced anything but the lights turned up the next day. Have to say, good looking lights and they appear to be well built. A contact phone number on the website would help allay any worries rather than waiting for replys to emails. One more thing; item was poorly boxed.”

Thank you for getting in touch. I think perhaps there has been a misunderstanding. We do not have a specific Saturday service. Our Standard delivery services is 3 to five days or Express service 1 to 2 days. There is not an option to choose Saturdays I'm afraid. The Customer Care Team
