The light arrived with parts missing we where informed by LD that this was the new design also we considered that the light was not fit for purposes, they said we can return the light but we have to pay the postage. Not a good experience will not shop with them again.

Attempted to contact them 3 times, left 2 messages, never responded. Eventually sent them an email, which they did reply to in 24 hrs and provided a 10% discount. The experience has left me wondering what it will be like if I ever have warranty issues and want to speak to them.

Ordered 11 items and only 2 were shipped originally. Once I finally got the lights one of the brackets was missing, I?m still yet to hear back what they intend to do about the situation.

when purchasing the product it stated that " buy it now and receive it by the following day" and it still says it now if you look. I am sure it will say somewhere else that this may not be the case. It is very misleading and incorrect statement.

The item delivered was not as described. Contacted customer services and I have no response. When I called they stated they would be in touch. Still waiting !

Request sent 27th July 2020 Hermes received my lighting parcel at their depot on the 17th July 2020 ?we?ve got it? on their tracker system it states sorry for the delay we?ll have it on the move in the next 24 hours they have been stating that for the last 17 days on their tracking system. Could you please cancel that deliver and resend a new light unit by a more reliable courier? Or is it possible to get the parcel collected from there depot as it is creating a Health and Safety issue this end.

The delivery of the first half of the order was late and the second half of it took a further 2 days and a lot of phone calls. The delivery company were very unhelpful.

The product is unsuitable because of wiring configuration. I have tried to call and sent emails to get a return authorisation, no response in 5 days. The phone is not picked up and the message says very busy, please call back. I note that their standard response email says busy, don't expect a response for 7 days, their returns policy is that they should be notified within 7 days of purchase! Not happy.

I bought a 4ft LED tube which I thought would be OK to replace my fluorescent tube but the pins at the end are different to a standard tube. There were no other options available from lighting direct. It would have been good to have clearer information on this.

Give me my refund for the light fitting that was delivered smashed which i returned to you. You were quick to take my money but not so quick to refund it. You need better quality control to ensure that your packers don't smash the goods when packing them.

I am sorry your items arrived damaged. Our products are very fragile and despite best efforts by our warehouse team sometimes damage occurs in transit. I ordered some fence lights because this company had them in stock. I paid express delivery. My invoice came through on line saying that the items were due to be despatched. Two days later I went to track my items and found they were out of stock! I was angry I had deliberately ordered from Lighting Direct because they had stock. I contacted customer services and was told that I had ? pre-ordered? the items. When I said my invoice said differently I was offered a refund of the express delivery postage. I was transferred to an investigation team who failed to contact me until I pursued it with customer services again. I have had no real explanation. I really couldn?t trust this company again and certainly could not recommend.

Only one of the four fixtures has arrived (its been 3+ weeks for a 1-3 business day delivery), and customer support hasn't followed up with an update or responded to queries.

I cannot comment on the product because I cannot fit it without help but the courier service is appalling. Three times I receive a notification that DPD would deliver and twice they failed. When the product arrived the packaging was very damaged
