Thank you for taking the time to complete our feedback request. Your order was left in your garage some six days ago at 15:15 on 23rd June.  Our carriers DPD sent a text message and email to advise you of the safe delivery.   I will forward directly to you the image provided by them of the area where the consignment was left.  We look forward to you shopping with us again very soon. Terrible - problem with courier but the Hermes website just automatically refers you back to Lighting Direct. I phoned their customer services and it?s just a message saying to email. I emailed and an Automated email reply says they will get back to you in 5 days - no good if you have paid extra for 1-2 day delivery. 4 days later still not even a delivery forecast and neither courier or lighting direct available to ask about it.

My Paolo indoor globe lamp only worked for 4 evenings and I realised it wasn't my bulb or fuse was the problem..I will have to send it back even though I like the design and size..such a shame

I made a purchase and unfortunately had to cancel 20 minutes later. I called up customer services and they refused to cancel the items. Therefore I then had to send the items back via the courier they came with. How ridiculous. It would have taken a simple call to cancel this but they refused.

I have been trying to obtain a returns number from this company and can't get hold of anyone in customer services. I've referred the situation to my bank who will recall the funds and deal with it on my behalf

I am sorry you are not happy with us. We were exceptionally busy over the Christmas period hence our response times were longer than usual. For this we apologise sincerely. However, your returns details have already been issued to you via the email address you provided with your order. After being told that the lights that I ordered were double insulated turned out NOT to be . The electrician was the one who told me when he came . Very angry . Also they was suppose to give me a certain % off with my order with the code given but I was charged full price . Waiting for a refund . Very very disappointed .

I ordered a light from there website, paying £62.99 for the Dar Caden Glass. As you can see from the first two pictures this is what they are advertising on their website. When I received the light, there was a drilled hole right through the middle of the glass?! Please see my following pictures on Question 2 (As wont let me attach on this question). At no point in their description did they state there was a HOLE in the middle of the glass!!!!! Or indicate within their pictures that there is a drilled hole right through the middle!!!! I contacted the telephone number given on their website, and was told to send some pictures which I did. I was then further contacted with a general message of returns. I rang the customer service yet again who stated they had sent a response.... but to my Husbands email. They explained that this is a manufacturers issue and apparently this is how the light comes (with the hole in the middle). I explained I did not want the light and they were happy to refund this product, if I send it back...?? Which of course is a cost to the paying customer in the first place. So not only have they falsely advertised on their website selling a product which is not to true likeness, there customer service is appalling in the complaint procedure and process. And now I have to pay to return there false advertised product!! I will be in touch with the tradesman ombudsman.

I am still waiting for delivery 5 failed times that Hermes have missed there delivery. Back with friendly local courier who doesnt exist.

Still awaiting delivery of parcel. Unfortunately Lighting Direct chose Hermes as their courier and the parcel still appears to be stuck in Hermes system. LD are aware of the problem but have not managed to resolve it.

Thank you for getting in touch. Your order left us yesterday (5th August) and will be with you tomorrow. Please check your emails for the notification from the carrier which has been sent. As advised on our website at the time of your order your particular choice was out of stock and not due in until yesterday. Unfortunately the situation over recent months surrounding Covid-19 has led to longer lead times for some products. This is something that is out of our control. The purchase was due to be delivered on Tuesday; it is now Sunday and it has still not been delivered. I have been informed three times that delivery would be on that day between 17:00 and 19:00 but there was no delivery; very much later on those days Check My Delivery said that there had been a "slight delay". No direct communication to explain why there was a delay and what was happening the rectify the situation. There is no facility in the Delivery Website (Hermes) to make any enquiry as to what was happening or speak to a "Human". Recommendations is that the delivery agent is replaced as they clearly do not deliver as stated. Having paid for a delivery as part of the purchase I consider that I am entitled to a refund as the service which I had paid for has not been provided. As for the quality of the product; I clearly cannot give any views as I have yet to receive it.

Phoned to tell them that parts were missing from the product, got a message saying they were busy but would phone me back, they didn't. Good job I only ordered 1 to try rather than the 7 I actually require.

I am very sorry for the problem with your fitting. Your message was received yesterday afternoon and we left a message on the number given (at your workplace) before you were in work this morning so I am sorry we missed you. A month after order confirmed, I am still waiting for my light. They will not reply to my emails and you can't speak to anyone. Will not deal with them again. Very poor service and I don't expect much luck in getting it sorted soon.
