Again, please accept our apologies. Our warehouse made a packing error and you received an order not intended for you. Thank you very much for letting us know. I am sorry you were not happy with the service you received from us. On being notified, we booked a collection for the unwanted goods once you provided us with a convenient date. The collection I understand went ahead successfully. As with all businesses, periodically we make mistakes, but our focus is on doing our best to resolve queries as quickly as possible which I believe we did in this case. The products I ordered were part of a bigger order. The product was not shown as being out of stock yet clearly was. I have been given 3 different delivery dates with none achieved. Because I have not been able to complete the project I need the lights for, I have now got to revisit the site at my cost. I have contacted "customer care" who have informed me the products will be in with them on the 11 June. I have today ( 6 June) received notification that the product has been dispatched ??? I have always been satisfied with the service and previously rated them 5 stars. Not now I am really disappointed .

Didn't deliver whole order - no explanation. Had to chase repeatedly for second item and promises I would "definitely" have it by a certain date were not met

We received two of the three lights ordered in a box that was around x 4 times too big. We have yet to receive the third light ordered as of 9am on 18/01/2017.

The wrong wattage bulbs were sent and I'm still waiting for the remote. I have had no reply to date. It has been 4 weeks now.

The products we got seemed to be 2nd hand or ex display. One had a dent in it and both had stains (bit like rust) on them. Emailed there customer service address with photos and I am yet to get a reply.

Units were advertised as having a dimmer but the delivered units lacked this important feature. A return reference was supplied and the goods repacked for collection. A week later the parcel is still waiting at the front door.

Further to our conversation last week I have passed on your feedback regarding this item. There appears to be some misunderstanding regarding our returns process. In the email containing your returns number, we ask that you get in touch with us to advise us of a convenient day for the item to be collected. We did not hear from you hence we have not instructed our couriers to attend as yet. I will contact you myself this morning to agree a suitable date. Small product sent in a giant cardboard box. I no longer required the strip light when I got it so wanted to return it. I was advised to return it in the same box in case it was damaged in transit. This cost £6. I was also told it would ?take a while? to get a refund because of an imminent warehouse move. I have a feeling that there is more hassle to come.

The P4 Strip Profile Surface Mounting Bracket that I received are not the ones I ordered. I ordered the brackets which were shown on the website, with conus shaped whole for screw, but received bracket with flat surface. The top of any screw head is well above the surface of the bracket. In addition, I tried to contact the supplier calling both telephone numbers on the BLT website, but the calls are not getting through. If I knew that before purchasing from them, I would buy from BLT, as it is one of the signes of (lack of) credibility of the supplier. It is not a good value for money.

I will never shop with lighting direct again. Having messed up my order in a catalogue of errors,they have repeatedly promised to phone me back and never do.women on the phone was unbelievably rude to me, I doubt this company will ever get their act together and refund me.They are even incapable of collecting the duplicate order from a studio that has 24/7 concierge service. An appaling, stressful experience shopping with this company, one I will never repeat.

Unfortunately, I am in the middle of a terrible experience with Lighting-direct. My outside light hasn't arrived and Customer Services STILL haven't replied to my emails regarding this.

I have found the product very flimsy when you clip it together after a few day it comes away from the base,it just won`t hold up for very long when it just holds up by the cable

I foolishly paid an extra £5 for rapid delivery. The money would have been better spent on petrol and driving the 17 miles to Milton Keynes to collect the items. Once the company were told we were being messed about by the courier company, they acted and sent the package by a different courier. My wife was held prisoner for nearly 3 days, whilst she "Waited in" for the courier that never delivered. Products arrived and appear to be in good condition. Found "Discount codes" for this supplier on the internet, but they were invalid when applied to the purchase on their website. Doubtful that we would use this company again, expensive, discount disappointment and lamentable delivery.

There is a problem with the bulb housing fittings in the product. I called Lighting direct and left a message, but have not heard back 1 week later

Your product was delivered smashed to bits. Postman returned box and I?ve heard nothing re refund. Terrible service.

I am sorry that your order was damaged on receipt.  Periodically items are damaged in transit despite our best attemptsin terms of robust packaging. All customers who contact us by email receive an automated response advising it can take us up to three days to respond during busy periods.
