“Excellent service, but would think it very useful to have quantities of designated yarn needed to complete pattern stated at the same point. This would negate the need to switch between the two. This is the only reason I have not awarded five stars.”

“I can't really give a proper rating at this time, since it has been a month since I placed an order. But laughing Hens was very quick to respond as to a situation out of their control, The Royal Mail Strike. I hope my order arrives before the new year begins!”

“The yarn arrived in good order, when expected. The delay in obtaining enough yarn of the same batch meant that the project could not be started when I was in hospital, as planned. I have started it now and am enjoying using the bamboo/ cotton yarn.”

“My order was processed quickly and correctly, and your e-mail communications were excellent as well. My only criticism relates to the flimsiness of the plastic bag in which the yarn was sent. By the time it reached me, the bag had sustained a few small punctures and a couple of tears--one that penetrated both the bag and the shipping label--and about a fourth of the flap was open because the glue was no longer sticky enough to keep it shut. Fortunately, despite these defects, the yarn inside the bag was undamaged; but perhaps you should consider using sturdier containers, at least for international shipments. BTW, with regard to delivery time (17 days), the delay was due, not to you, but to U.S. Customs in Chicago. Thank you for your prompt service and for the beautiful yarn.”

“The purchase was quick & easy, delivery was also fast. My project for these needles was a baby blanket. Sadly, once the garment was about 18 centimetres long, one of the needles snapped in half so unfortunately I had to resort to an old pair. Having said that, the needles were smooth, comfortable & easy to work with but too lightweight for my blanket! Christine”

“I like knitting with this cotton. The stitch definition is nice and the yarn doesn't split. However, if you need to undo your knitting, fluffy bits get created. They are easy to pick off, and their loss doesn't seem to change the quality of the knitting...but it's messy! Good value, I would buy again.”
