“Beautiful soft baby wool. Got a present of West Yorkshire spinners bo peep wools but needed an extra ball. Delivery was quite slow to Dublin but the wool is perfect. Love the Sea Horse colour.”

“Quantity required was not available but order was despatched as soon as new stock arrived, knits beautifully, bit harder than I would have hoped but have only had one knot out of 7 skeins so far so will take that!! My niece might have to wear something under it!!”

“I enjoyed knitting with the Sirdar Snuggly Cashmere Merino: soft, smooth feel and handling, and great definition of the Celtic Weave pattern once complete. I reserve five stars for the Sirdar Snuggly Cashmere Merino Silk which I have used several times in the past, and simply adore.”

“Lovely wool, swiftly delivered. One caveat: it was not clear on the website the size of the skeins, so I ordered too few and had to order some more. Please make clear whether skeins are 50g or 100g?”

“The wool is lovely and soft with a nice sheen to it, but although I love the colour and will use it, it is more purple than the picture showed. I thought it was more burgundy/maroon colours”

“Excellent service, but would think it very useful to have quantities of designated yarn needed to complete pattern stated at the same point. This would negate the need to switch between the two. This is the only reason I have not awarded five stars.”

“I can't really give a proper rating at this time, since it has been a month since I placed an order. But laughing Hens was very quick to respond as to a situation out of their control, The Royal Mail Strike. I hope my order arrives before the new year begins!”

“The yarn arrived in good order, when expected. The delay in obtaining enough yarn of the same batch meant that the project could not be started when I was in hospital, as planned. I have started it now and am enjoying using the bamboo/ cotton yarn.”

“Ordering is easy. I was contacted about one item I had ordered. They didn't have enough stock. I really didn't need it so told them 2 of the 3 was OK. Shipping was extremely fast.”
