“I ordered a flourescent bulb because shops were closed during the holidays. It worked for ONE day before it blew. There was a series of numbers which looked like a sell-by date, which was for the end of 2022. It was supposed to last 10 years.”

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback, Tom. I would like to assure you these products do not have a sell-by date. They sometimes do have a manufactured date on there which potentially could be it? With regards to the bulb, there is potential for it to be your ballast/control gear in the back of the fitting which has actually stopped working & therefore stressed the bulb across the one day of working before stopping. In my experience, this type of bulb either would either not work at the start or last its full average life time. If you would like to contact our customer service team (help@lampshoponline.com) we would be happy to send a replacement for you if you haven't already sourced one.
