“Difficult to explain prophylactic mediacation when a diagnosis has not been made. Only 1 broken bone in my lifetime and over 14 months ago erronoeusly stated as 1 or 2 broken bones over 4 months ago. Medical Assistance Provider not clearly stated.”

“They are thorough but the initial call took 1hour 5mins. We got cut off & she rang me back & it took a further 15 mins therefore 1 hour 20 mins to arrange travel insurance! As I am over 70 I found it draining & stressful. I am a retired Chartered Insurer & have underwritten travel insurance but some of your questions were repetitive. I agree it is important to disclose everything but surely there should be a clear list of easily answered questions & no unnecessarily preamble. I nearly burst into tears when I came off the phone! Far too lengthy call.”

“We are happy to use Just Travel for our holiday insurance, as it covers everything we need it too. This year however we came across a minor negative as when it came to paying for our insurance cover at the final page to pay, we found out that you had to have a credit/debit card linked to your mobile phone number. As somebody who does not have a smart phone or do those sorts of transactions, I had ring and speak to an adviser {who was Mason and he did a great job} and pay over the phone. Just Travel Cover needs other options to pay, like Paypal, or just input your chosen card payment method and get a one time code to enter from their bank, but this problem, I feel, need urgent attention.”

“The person we spoke to was very helpful in handling a last-minute booking. The only thing I would question is whether what I think is osteoarthritis in my knees is really a medical condition - because it has never been diagnosed by medical staff. I keep it under control with cider vinegar from the chemist. I’m only assuming it’s osteoarthritis, but twinges and occasional pain in the knees (but only when going up stairs) are caused by a variety of things. I would appreciate some clarity on your position with this, many thanks. I’ve never mentioned it before to travel insurers because it didn’t seem significant.”
