“After a sticky start in terms of progressing the mortgage application the service was very good. All members of staff who dealt with a case ,which had numerous complications given the ineptitude of the solicitor were attentive, focused and communicated progress extremely well.”

“John Charcol were able to provide us a mortgage at short notice, as our previous mortgage advisor had missed out a major detail - which was noticed at exchange! The mortgage came through in just over a week, and we were able to complete on our property. The John Charcol Advisor was always contactable, and I definitely felt that he was doing his utmost to provide us with what we needed. We were also very happy with the life assurance quotes. Money well spent, and would always recommend them - thank you.”

“Whilst I had some past exposure to what the purchase process entailed and the myriad of teams to deal with (i.e from estate agents to solicitors to the vendors), no one stood out in this particular instance other than the John Charcol team - simply because the John Charcoal team were very competent, professional and very responsive. They made sure their part in the end-2-end process was done swiftly and with accuracy and were always there to support their client with competent/professional advise. Particular thanks to Sener Topal, Pravin Varsani and Sana Jafarey!”

“I had used the John Charcol website 15yrs ago to find a mortgage when they did online comparisons. When I checked this time I had to speak with one of their advisors which initially I didn't like the idea of. However I was allocated Sarah who was very easy to talk to and ensured she recommended the right mortgage for my situation. I also made enquiries with another company who came back with a cheaper alternative but when I looked closer realised that it was short term and would definitely cost more in a few years time. This consolidated my trust in John Charcol and Sarah. After I agreed to the mortgage Sarah passed me to Helen who arranged the conveyancing etc and completed the process. Both staff were so patient with me. I have a busy life like so many people today and the girls, in a delicate manner, kept me on track and got me through the process unscathed. I dealt with the whole process via my smartphone and printer; it couldn't be easier. My husband and I would like to thank Sarah and Helen and everyone else involved in the process of getting a new mortgage and insurance for their hard work and support. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing advice. Thanks everyone.”

“My contact was with Amir Hameed who helped me arrange an expat mortgage as I live in Portugal. I found him to be courteous and professional and my situation was not an easy one, but he still managed to get me a good mortgage offer. I subsequently did not take up the offer due to Brexit and the exchange rate movement which went against me, but I have no hesitation in recommending John Charcol to anyone looking for a mortgage or remortgage solution. Thanks Amir ! Roland”
