“Exceptional service from Susy! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Susy and team went absolutely above and beyond to help us get our mortgage across the line. Given our circumstances and the challenges we faced with lenders, there were points where it genuinely felt to us like it might not be possible. Susy never lost hope and reassured us to stay positive and trust her. She took a personal interest in our situation, continued to pursue every possible avenue, and kept working day and night (and weekends) even when things looked incredibly difficult. Her determination, knowledge and commitment made such a difference to us. We’re incredibly grateful for everything Susy did to get us over the line. She didn’t just treat us like another application — she genuinely cared about helping us achieve our goal and never gave up on us. We couldn’t recommend Susy highly enough. “Lisa Gillssenan was fantastic from start to finish. She was incredibly helpful, professional and patient throughout the whole mortgage process taking the time to explain everything clearly and making what would have been a stressful experience feel straightforward and manageable. “We cannot recommend Shak Bhairon from John Charcol highly enough. From the very beginning, Shak went above and beyond to help us secure our mortgage and made what could have been a very stressful process feel so much easier. She was incredibly knowledgeable, professional and responsive throughout, always taking the time to explain everything clearly and keep us updated. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she genuinely cared about getting the right outcome for us. “Thomas Bridle was my protection advisor, to help me ensure I had everything in place for my property purchase! He was absolutely fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable and very happy to explain things in easy to understand terms. As a first time buyer, there is a lot to think about and a lot of paperwork to complete and things to organise, so it was such a relief to have someone to explain exactly what protection was required for my individual needs and circumstances - thank you again!! “Have been using John Charcoal for a good few years now and they just make everything very simple and straight forward. They are more than happy to do the heavy lifting for you leaving you minimal stress. I had Nick helping me recently with my insurances and he was absolutely brilliant. Great service with a great attitude and couldn't do enough to help. I also dealt with Gemma for the mortgage side of things and just ao professional and helpful. Great service and would recommend to anyone.”

“The team at John Charcol (Hannah, Emily and Chantelle) were fantastic from start to finish. I was in a bit of a pickle trying to get out of a brutal interest rate loan to pay off my IVA, and Hannah suggested a way to get out of having to take a third charge on my property at 32.5% APRC. The process took 8 months(!) start to finish, but that was mostly because of the smoothbrains at my IP failing to read emails and answer requests. Everyone I dealt with at John Charcol was friendly, polite and very helpful. I will be going to them again when it's time to remortgage!”
