“The team at John Charcol have been first class. From our mortgage broker Andrew, who was fantastic, and stayed with us even as the purchase took place longer than a year! To the protection services and products offered to us, we got a very bespoke service which really fitted our needs and our level of protection and insurance that we wanted. All explained clearly to us throughout so we fully understood every part of the process. I’d recommend them to anyone.”

“Randeep recently helped us get a mortgage. He explained everything very clearly and simply as we are first time buyers. He replied very quickly to emails and phone calls. Randeep found us a great mortgage rate and was excellent. Highly recommend Mohit helped us find the right insurance. He explained everything and all our options. He came back with a list of options best suited to us based on the information provided. Would highly recommend Thank you to you both for your help and support whilst buying our first home”

“From the initial telephone consultation with Shaahid Quinn at John Charcoal, I was reassured he knew what he was talking about. After speaking to multiple brokers about my complex situation and what I needed doing they said it was not possible but Shaahid on the initial call said the provider he would potentially use because of how easy there were to work with. Very professional, literally a phone call away and Lily Rechet did all the chasing with the provider. I will defo recommend Shaahid and Lily if you need a mortgage no matter how complex it is. I had no issues and received my mortgage offer within 10 days as well as Shaahid requesting a rate change multiple times because a lower offer was available.”

“I’ve first met Lisa mid this year with me wanting to be a landlord. Ever since the first initial meet she has been nothing but supportive, and most importantly very precise and accurate with every information she gives. With working with Lisa all you genuinely have to do is sit back provide her the info she needs and let her do her magic. In addition it’s also the fact she’s always active on her phone and email keeping full communication with you through the process which is a really good piece of mind as her reply time is minutes! Hand down I know who’ll be doing my remortgages, future new applications. Her contact had to be sent to the whole family who’s interests in buying as she’s 10/10”

“Here’s the updated version with reassurance added, still with no pronouns: As a first-time buyer, the whole process felt daunting at first, but Lisa was fantastic from start to finish. Everything was explained clearly, with time taken to answer all questions, and the approach was consistently calm and reassuring, making the experience straightforward and stress-free. “I cannot say enough good things about John Charcol! I chose them after doing an online search for mortgage brokers who could assist people moving back to the UK after living overseas. Georgijs found us a great mortgage. Not just an okay considering we had just moved back after a lengthy stint abroad mortgage, but a great mortgage, full stop. He was very responsive to questions, and Zerena on his team checked in with us regularly throughout the process. They aren't just going through the motions of doing a job; they are providing a service, and it's a fantastic one! I would most definitely use this firm again and would highly recommend them to others.”

“I can’t recommend Lisa highly enough as a mortgage advisor. From the very beginning, she took the time to fully understand my situation and explained everything clearly and honestly. Not only did she secure a great mortgage deal for me, but her protection advice was just as thorough and reassuring, making sure I was properly covered and giving me real peace of mind. What really set Lisa apart was how she helped me when another adviser had told me I wouldn’t be able to get a mortgage unless I was prepared to pay a very high interest rate. Lisa quickly showed that this simply wasn’t the case. She looked after everything with care and expertise and found a solution that worked far better than I had been led to believe was possible. Throughout the process, Lisa was supportive, professional, and always available to answer questions. I genuinely felt she had my best interests at heart, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for both excellent mortgage advice and comprehensive protection guidance.”

“Ezra our Mortgage Advisor and his associates gave us excellent advice and found us as a Taylor made deal (where other mortgage companies had failed), along with an excellent percentage rate! Ezra kept to his word and always did/contact/send exactly what he promised which was extremely comforting and I think it’s a a good reflection on the whole company ethos. What impressed us further with the deal that Ezra found for us, was it was clearly the best option for us, even though it meant that we would pay less commission to set it up. Graham and Suzanne”
