“We had a fantastic experience with our mortgage advisor, Athavan, and couldn’t recommend him highly enough. From the very beginning, he was professional, knowledgeable, approachable and incredibly responsive. What particularly impressed us was how proactive he was throughout the process and how quickly he acted to keep us updated whenever there were developments. Buying a home and navigating the mortgage process at times felt incredibly daunting, especially as first-time buyers, but Athavan explained everything clearly and patiently, and we always felt comfortable asking questions. We were particularly anxious about approaching the mortgage process because of previous adverse credit, despite having worked incredibly hard to improve our circumstances. Athavan was completely non-judgemental, reassuring and respectful throughout. He focused on where we were now and what could be achieved, rather than making us feel defined by our past circumstances. That meant a great deal to us and made what could have been a stressful experience feel far more manageable. Communication was excellent throughout, and we were kept informed at every stage. We genuinely felt well looked after and that the advice we received was tailored to us, rather than it simply feeling like a transactional service. We’re extremely grateful for all of Athavan’s support and would happily recommend him and the team at John Charcol to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, reliable and genuinely helpful mortgage advisor particularly first-time buyers or those with adverse histories who might be feeling apprehensive about the process.”

“We came to Sandeep at Oakmans abit deflated after a meeting with another mortgage advisor due to 'Poor credit' He was so friendly and helpful and gave us hope to have a successful mortgage application! His communication was second to none. If he said he would get back to us by a certain date, he would. He answered all questions we had and more. We could not fault him and fast forward four months since our first meeting we now have the keys to our first home with his help. Thanks Sandy”
