“My adviser Mohit Patel was very patient and stuck with the task. After I initially got turned down by one provider due to my medical history, he found another who came through with the cover I needed. Always pleasant to deal with, I’m happy to recommend Mohit.”

“We had the pleasure of working with Daniel Smith as our protection advisor and overall had a good experience, that we would recommend. Great customer service regarding flexibility of meetings, often outside of standard working hours which is most appreciated. Of note, some teething issues around carrying over previous information gathered from previous protection advisors, however, quickly rectified. Overall, good value for money that we would recommend and use again. Thank you for your service!”

“I recently had the pleasure of working with Athavan Vallipuram from John Charcol, and I couldn't be happier with his service. Athavan's expertise and dedication made the whole mortgage switching and remortgaging process smooth and stress-free. He always kept me in the loop whenever a new and lower mortgage rate came up, giving me all the info I needed to make smart decisions. Thanks to his proactive approach, we reapplied for a lower rate about five times, making sure I always got the best possible interest rate before my existing mortgage ended. I was in touch with Athavan for six months before my deal ended. Being an active person, I did my own research to start at the industry standard time. While I can't speak for the entire John Charcol team, I do think they were on top of things because Eniko Kormendi (Client Relationship Manager) would step in when Athavan wasn't available, and they kept me informed. It was between siriusfinance.co.uk or John Charcol, and the team at John Charcol won my business because Athavan's emails felt genuine and not copy-pasted. Don't get me wrong, Athavan probably has many preloaded scripts, but he used them in a way that felt personal. His professionalism and friendly demeanor really stood out. I highly recommend Athavan for anyone looking for top-notch help with their mortgage needs.”

“Ezra Le Mon was very helpful and tried to get me a good deal. He was responsive to messages and queries and discounted some of the charges that Buckinghamshire added on (£400 for a 10 minute ‘valuation’). I was very happy with his service. I do think that your company JC need to be more transparent about costs - for example the solicitors estimate which was different to their actual fees. Meg Jones was also helpful and responsive as the case manager, again responding promptly to any questions and queries. Overall a good - if a bit pricey - service.”

“Gemma Clarke and Emma Moores gave timely support and amended recommendations when appropriate in renewing my BTL mortgage. There were a few IT problems from the Building Society but we managed to negotiate the issues and we now have a fixed rate for 2 years that meets our needs.”

“Delighted by the service we received from Shaahid Quinn. We had to do a simultaneous completion of remortgage on one property and at the same time complete an onward purchase. Shaahid helped us navigate through a myriad of issues and acted as a true advisor. Over the years we have mortgaged several times now but Shaahid has trumped it all and left a superstar impression with us. We could not ask for any more and together with Hollie they have both been professional, diligent and a responsive team. We will certainly be using them again when the opportunity arises. Thank you!”

“John Charcol were professional and provided a good overall service, my Mortgage Adviser went the extra mile to deliver, was friendly and dedicated. My Client Relationship Manager was again friendly however lacked the speed I would have expected to push through the mortgage, but that is the only area of improvement that I would like to see, overall I was pleased with the service provided.”

“Lauren and Katherine did an excellent job and we were grateful for their efficient help. The only room for improvement is in the interface between JC and the panel solicitor recommended, where duplication could be avoided, but the team worked hard to smooth out problems within the other agencies concerned. Customer service - 5, Delivery - 4, Price - 4.”
