“Very efficient and friendly - easy to do business with. Good relationship with key points of contact Strong communication in explaining what is happening/has happened. In contrast to Building Society's Solicitors who were painful to engage with and very slow. You took away most of this pain for me (although the inefficiency of these solicitors did delay completion although for me that did not matter particularly). Excellent overall. Will recommend to others. Chris”

“Excellent customer service and Amir was very very diligent with all the paperwork. Our application was not straight forward because I am a director and own my own company. amir was very patient and thorough. A lot of people would have found it too much trouble. We were kept Informed all the way through. Its the beat services ive had from a service business in a long time. I would thoroughly recommend Amir & JC to anyone looking for a mortgage.”

“This is my first time using John Charcol and I cannot recommend them enough! I was in a very tricky situation when I approached them and Jonathan was so reassuring and compassionate; he did all he could to assure me that they would find a suitable solution, and that they did. “I dealt with Matt Gibson in the first instance who was professional and very knowledgeable throughout the whole process, from start to finish. I am rather forgetful/slow with sorting paperwork, he was very patient and personally I would recommend him to anyone and have done to a fellow colleague. I also like that if he said he would do something, you know it would be done. Happy customer :)”

“Jonathan Smith, the partner that handled our account made a potentially very difficult process run smoothly. He offered us highly competitive options that others could not find, and when the chain collapsed at one point the speed with which he proposed a solution was impressive. Jonathan deserves praise for his professionalism, calmness under pressure and for his patience in determining the needs of his clients before providing a practical and tailor-made solution. In an age of tick-box, computer controlled systems it was a pleasure to deal with someone that was able to think out of the box... I have no hesitation in recommending his services.”

“Our mortgage advisor, Angela Darko at JC was simply amazing at managing what was a complex situation for our successful mortgage arrangement. The process was quick, and what impressed me most was the level of communication and account management that Angela provided. We always felt that we had strong visibility of the best rates and advice on the right provider to go with. “Tim Ward of John Charcol arranged our mortgage and he was extremely friendly, professional and efficient. He understood exactly what we required and organised everything for us and took all the stress and hardwork away from us. He was always contactable and even though our house buying process took six months in the end due to the chain falling through twice he often contacted us to find out how were doing and helped us sort out a very good house insurance quote as well. He arranged our formal mortgage offer incredibly fast and we would highly recommend him and John Charcol.”

“The company's representative was honest straightforward and did what he said he would do. Re-mortgage was arranged efficiently and painlessly. Company kept us informed of progress on a regular basis and took care of the odd hiccup saving us the trouble. All in all a very good pro-active service provider who has access to mortgage rates not found on line.,”

“I recently completed a 3rd transaction in less than a year with Hemel Shah at John Charcol for a residential mortgage. In each case, Hemel has been proactive, knowledgeable, and responsive. He's always very professional and a pleasure to deal with. In the last transaction, we were working under very short timelines, and he ensured that all of the financing was in place very early on, and this was incredibly re-assuring. Would highly recommend Hemel as a mortgage broker. I have high expectations for all professional advisers I deal with, and Hemel never fails to deliver.”
