Booked for a job to clean pigeon faeces. Operatives turned up with no PPE, no RAMS and no understanding of what they were there to do. Had to get them back to do it again as it was not clean enough. Same thing - different operatives. no PPE, no RAMS and no idea why they were there!

JG Pest Control- Job Booking Confirmation. Ref: AH373057 Feel really cheated. They charged me £300 for a job (squirrel pest detection and removal) that costs £75-£150 in the area. I was told it was non refundable only after I paid the advance over the phone and then had no choice but to go ahead with them since I paid for the service which was non-refundable. I have no peace of mind to deal with them further asking for refunds or what not... As even if I were to take them to court, the lawyers will be the next looters like them. Be careful in this shady world. Don't let desperate times get you trapped with people like these.

Avoid like the plague. This company will eagerly take your money and respond quickly but do little to sort out the problem, in fact they just made it a whole lot worse. They damaged my windows with the heat treatment and hid behind their disclaimer. Nice. They did nothing to diagnose the problem, after 3 visits I still had the same issue. Turned out it wasn't bed bugs but mites coming through the wall. They were totally useless. The technicans didn't know what they were talking about either. They didn't even look around my home to work out the source. I had to ask them to do that. Save your money. You can get rid of most critter's yourself if you do your research. I'm £1200 out of pocket now after commissioning them, big mistake.

Very poor experience of this company. We had to leave the house so could not challenge what was being done. They did not complete the treatment in the way described on their website (nowhere near the number of hours stated), did not call us at the end of the ‘treatment’ as they said they would to advise of what had been found. There was no evidence that any chemical treatment had been used but we were charged for that. They provided an unnecessary heat treatment for the problem which could have been treated inexpensively- nearly £1700 for carpet moth larva- not bed bugs. Finally they lied on the phone to us (we tape our calls). They said that the van would just say JG. It had ‘Pest Control’ emblazoned on it. The balance of the money was taken from our account via ‘a token’. We asked for our money back but nothing.

We explained that we're home only during weekends, and they promised to schedule 3 visits for which we have paid £300. They've only spent 30 min on the first visit, and now when we asked to schedule a 2nd one, they've said they have no availability for the weekend this month and they will have to charge us extra to book any other weekend. They've also guaranteed eradication and blocked off all entry points which did not happen.

Great technicians but terrible logistics. My appointment was cancelled several times very late in to the appointment slot on the day and the rescheduled appointment was over 3 hours late. Impossible to manage for those who work outside the home and have children and pets that can't be at home during treatments.

JG Pest Control came to deal with a wasp's nest and had to come back 2 weeks later to deal with the same nest and they did not manage to get rid of it at all. It was very disappointing. I would not recommend them.

Paid £180 to get rid of bedbugs but I ended up getting fooled by the company. They did a chemical spray once never advised me that it’s one time service while booking it later when I called them as it was not sorted with one time service, the guy told me to pay another £180 & he can’t help me.

Poor service. We were told they would be conducting a survey of the property but they just looked in each room and said there was no issue. Failed to highlight any of the issues, lacked any real knowledge of our issue and offered no solutions

I recently hired JG Pest Control to address a pest issue in my home, and the experience was nothing short of disappointing. The technician seemed unprepared, lacked knowledge about the pests, and the treatment provided was ineffective. The frustration with also extended beyond the inadequate pest control itself to their abysmal customer service. Attempting to reach them for follow-up questions or concerns felt like navigating a labyrinth of inefficiency. Phone calls often went unanswered, and when I did manage to get through, the representatives seemed uninformed and unhelpful. There was a distinct lack of empathy for the ongoing pest issues I was facing, making the overall experience even more disheartening. Emails requesting clarification on the treatment process and seeking additional guidance were met with delayed responses, if any. The lack of communication and responsiveness from the customer service team only added to the frustration of dealing with an already problematic situation Overall, I cannot recommend this company based on my disappointing experience. It's essential to choose a company that demonstrates expertise, thoroughness, and effective communication, qualities that were sorely lacking in this case. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received. The company will tell you they offer a premium service and give peace of mind with a 3 month guarantee. On the first visit bait was laid with no identification of pests and the poison was left in areas that had no activity or sightings. As you would expect that bait had not been touched. I was told they would return in three weeks. I was also informed they could not lift floor boards and I should arrange this myself if I expected them to lay bait in these areas. When I called to complain I was met with responses such as “where did you get your pest control degree?” And “Please address the small claims papers to our head office”. If anyone has had similar experiences I urge you to contact your credit card company and raise a complaint. They should not be able to get away operating their business in this manner and deserve to be named and shamed. A complete disgrace to their industry. SCAM ARTISTS Any response below asking me to reach out to resolve will be nothing more than PR stunt. I exhausted all options and was told I would have to take them to court. If they now try to advertise a caring response I am embarrassed for them.

Awful company! Promised to fill in the entry points as part of the service when we first contacted them. Each technician had a different idea about whether it was rats or squirrels in our loft and promised the next technician would fill in the entry points. After the three visits promised in the price, the entry points were still not filled in. At this point, it became impossible to get hold of anyone from the company (they won’t speak to you by phone and bookings are made through email links). No one from customer services got back to me, despite 5 emails from me. Eventually I received a response and they wanted to charge me more money to fill in the entry points, despite the previous technician saying it was a simple job. A possible additional cost was never mentioned or agreed in the initial sale. To top it all off, the squirrel has now returned since the traps were removed, so we paid £420 for nothing. Avoid this company!

Spent £100 for review and £300 for guaranteed fix of removing some rat-rats under the house. Basically they left some bait. I asked at the time why they did not close off rat runs and access to house. Not part of the guaranteed solution I bought. The problem got worse - over the next week activity increased and my tenants were freaking out. I asked if they could.come out again to review site. At first got no answer and then they refused. I have not heard from them in weeks. Spent £400 for no solution. Won't use them again.

Do not use- I called up to book in for a squirrel that was coming into my house. They quoted me £299 over the phone and could get someone out by the end of the day! Great I thought. A lovely man came and laid traps. He did tell me he asked for a bonus to come out after 7pm, which they agreed to apparently. Next day I realised they had taken £360 out of my account, when I questioned why it was more than I was quoted they said that was VAT. I told them to refund the £60, I was not informed about. My quote was £299 and I was not told that that was without VAT. A week later on the Friday the squirrels were still running around, I called the office to book in for Monday to get the traps moved and re baited. The man I spoke to booked me in for Monday morning. Great. ......Now over the weekend a dreadful smell in my sons room where a trap had been laid under the floorboard, but also still lots of noises from other squirrels. Monday morning no sign of the engineer, I call the office to find out I was not actually booked in!!! And there is no one in the area until Wednesday!! 1 of sick, 1 off on emergency leave another not in the area until Wednesday. Dreadful. They take your money with promises of same day appointments then they provide a shocking service once they have your cash! Do not use!!

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I have no idea how this service received such good reviews online but my first hand experience was nothing short of horrendous. Also, after doing some referencing and due diligence after my experience, it was very clear to me that so many others had experienced the same. In fact, after they visited our mouse situation got much worse and when I reached out to another pest control company and explained the situation, they immediately guessed which company we had used. They charge double what other pest controls charges and did the bare minimum - left 3 piles of rat poison in random places around the kitchen and just made the situation worse. When we reached out and explained the situation multiple times, they did nothing to help. The new pest control came and completely resolved the situation after one visit. There are so many similar services out there. Please do not use this one.

Was not there long I paid 180 pound for nothing very disappointing as I still was left with a dead rat somewhere
