“I still have 2+ visits, they've taken everything away and are refusing to come back or refusing me. They're also impossible to get on the phone unless you want to pay for something. Awful company”

“We chose JG Pest Control specifically because their website states that rat control includes proofing to prevent re-entry. The issue was in our loft, which we disclosed from the start. The job was booked as Rats Internal. During the first visit, the technician entered the loft, identified access gaps, and explicitly said wire wool would be placed and he would show us where so we could add a brick afterwards. On the final visit, no proofing was done. The technician stayed for around five minutes, removed the poison, couldn’t answer any questions we asked and left. We were later told that proofing in loft spaces is not included, despite this not being stated on their website, booking confirmation, or treatment information. Customer service have now confirmed this is their “final position” and have refused proofing or a refund, stating that loft proofing was never included — even though this was never disclosed before payment and was contradicted by their own technician. If you want bait only, this company may be fine. If you are paying extra for proofing, be aware that exclusions are applied after the fact, not explained upfront. Very disappointing experience.”

“They did not make happy it was the most distressing 6months the company seem to be run by customer service every time i called is was same first I had a one shot job did not work £297 I sent them a email showing them which they said that they could do the job I took out a 6month contract for the bugs first they called them mossquietoes nest 2months they called knots thr last month call outside insects I believe this company should not have taken on the job has I think I was told that they did not treat bugs I have been left still with problem had to get a new company in I ask for refund to pay the next bill I was refused I do see a lot of bad reviews around. 35i I counted I agreed with every one”

“I used JG Pest Control a few months ago to get rid of a wasps nest. It was very easy to use their website and I also spoke to the very helpful and friendly staff member. They arrived on time got on with their work and advised us what to do over the next week. This information was very useful. We called them out again about 5 days later as there were still a number of wasps around, as part of their service they come out a second time at no extra charge which is one of the reasons I chose JG. The second spraying did the job and we haven't had a problem since. Their price was competitive and I will definitely call on them again should the need arise.”

“I contacted a few local pest control services. JG pest control were swift in reply and guaranteed a same day appointment. After making an appointment and paying almost £200 in advance for the call out. On inspection, I was told my neighbours tree was the issue and the swarm of wasps and hornets were attracted to, and feeding on the sap. I was advised to buy "wasp pots" and solution to deal with the issue. This totalled to a further £30 and wasn't an instant cure. It left out garden unusable for the end of summer. I contacted the company for a refund but was told by the operative that hardly ever happens as the call out had been attended. I would recommend using a company that would inspect the situation before paying extortionate call out fees.”

Also, they are very easy to contact and their customer service team is equally as helpful and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.”

“Was given a 6hr window of arrival, heard nothing at all during that time, phoned up 5.5hrs into the window and was told he was still an hour away. When I asked for a refund got snarky attitude from the office and told 'absolutely not'. Appalling communications and service and they arent even here yet! DO NOT USE.”

“JG Pest control are excellent in helping customers achieve their goal. My house was invested with bedbugs for several months. Almost a year and they had the expertise to tackle it. Really they were fantastic with the knowledge of what to do to get rid of the pests. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Though I don't want any more bedbugs.”
