“Humax Direct are breaking the law. Whilst I agree with the ‘Which’ review, the EPG problem can be got around by muting the sound & if desired tuning to a non-broadcasting channel to get a virtually blank screen. The functions are terrible. I tried to return the product but as I had purchased it from ‘Humax Direct’ they told me I could not as 7 days had passed. I signed up to ‘Which Legal’ who helped me sort it out. Following legal advice from ‘Which’ I threatened them with ‘Breach of Contract’ (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) & referring it to my Credit Card company. They then agreed to refund. Warning, don’t purchase anything from Humax Direct. If you want to buy a Humax, do so from a reliable retailer e.g. Argos, Amazon etc. that have a sensible returns policy.”

“Excellent - only one small drawback the sensor response is rather slow beginning up the live picture via wifi to smartphones etc. But worth the price.”

“The Human Eye Smart camera is very simple to set up. Even a novice should have this up and running within 5 minutes. Reassuring to be able to log on and check all's ok”

“It provides a high definition recording facility which is what it is designed to do and is well priced but there are features that let it down.You have to wait some twenty seconds after switching over from "stand by" before you get a picture.I have just upgraded from their 8000 series which was some twelve years old and that was much better thought out in terms of initial switching from T.V to recorder,you actually had a progress bar and was much quicker.”

“Replaced for my old Humax which finally gave out after years of good service,have now just bought two more Humax,excellent choice can connect to all the outside apps and more,would never be able to watch all, as too much choice.Really pleased with updated purchase,only hope they last as long as the old one. My only complaint is the price of the delivery charge,I think is a bit steep,obviously did not deter me.”

“Bought a refurbished unit at a significant saving to new one. Fast delivery, arrived looking like new with all packaging and accessories. Easy to setup and use, nice big remote so no fiddly buttons. Great Product. Replaced our monthly Virgin Media boxes. The humax is faster at everything.”

“I ordered a replacement RMF01 remote for our Freesat PVR as the original had developed some intermittent buttons. The replacement arrived promptly and operates the PVR perfectly. The reason I have not awarded top feedback is that the codes for operating TVs, DVDs etc have changed from those given in the original handbook - these are 4-digit codes, whereas the new remote requires 3 digit codes. No indication of this was provided with the new unit, I had to find out how to use it from on line forums. There should be a warning that although the new unit has the same part number it is not a direct replacement, and the new codes should have been provided.”
