“Have not had the Humax for long, but first impressions are not very good. One big drawback is need to have the Humax switched on to get an aerial signal to the television. Also, it sometimes locks and cannot be controlled from the remote.”

“after experiencing a tivo box for several years after the demise of my old Humax box the new one is great and like having an old friend back, despite this model being short on gizmos it does what it says on the tin, great to have a Humax back full marks”

“Delighted with this reconditioned, well priced unit. Bought to replace a 6 year old Humax PVR (also reconditioned and still working!) However, I wanted the more up to date features that this one offered. Easy to install and excellent results.”

“I have bought many Humax models over the years for myself ,family and friends.They have always worked well but do ensure they have plenty of ventilation. The latest models state you can go back a week on the guide, but do not make it clear that you need a good Internet connection, because any programs from the previous week are actually ITV Hub or BBC iPlayer. Please make the model description clearer.”

“This is my second Humax. I passed my original on to my daughter and she eventually wore it out. It was about ten years old. She replaced it with another Humax. I am delighted with mine. It performs perfectly and is very intuitive. It's also very good value.”
