“We bought turf and topsoil and it was delivered around 3:30pm in Friday. The topsoil was put down and then the turf on the Saturday morning. The turf was dead, black, steaming and had mould inside it. I complained but was told it needed to go down the same day so we have to buy more. I accept that it should go down the same day but suspect the turf had been laying around for a bit longer than normal when sent to us because I have not seen it so bad, within 24 hours.”

Hi there, Sorry to hear about your turf. In warm weather at this time of year, turf will heat up and deteriorate very quickly so it's vital that turf is laid on the day of delivery. Please be assured that we always harvest turf fresh to order the day before delivery so it arrives with you in the best possible condition. “thinly cut & poor quality with rips or corners missing. Luckily I had over ordered & have been watering constantly to try to revive turf but wouldn't use again as poor quality compared to other suppliers”

“The turf was very easy to order, a reasonable price, and of fantastic quality. I could not have been happier. Despite the hot weather in less than a week my lawn has nearly fully knitted together and looks amazing!”

“All of the thin bladed grass has died 3 days after having received it. Despite laying the turf on the same day and thoroughly watering each day. The wider bladed grass is still green and lush. This has left me with at least half a dozen brown patches over my new lawn! We are not happy with the quality of this grass. Also never received a confirmation email confirming payment or time of delivery. So as a result my wife had to take delivery of the heavy pallets and help the driver push them up the kerb with a small child.”

“Excellent website, with important facts about the products that help in selecting the right turf. The online ordering was easy, efficient and confirmed by a phone call the next day regarding delivery the following day. Arrived on time, cannot praise Gardner Transport enough, the driver was cheerful, practical and demonstrated customer service. Slight error in top soil having to arrive the following morning, but decided we didn't need and this refund was processed within 24 hours. Would definitely recommend.”

“Quality of turf very good. The only problem was that the turf turned up two days early. Luckily we could divert staff to lay. A real inconvenience... Turfline acknowledge that there is a “possible” problem with the online system. Be aware and check following ordering!”
