“Excellent quality turf - arrived at 9am on the day we requested. Very fresh turf, nicely cut, with generous roots. Went down very quickly and easily. 1 week since we laid it - keeping it watered daily and looks like it is growing nicely, no yellow or dead patches. Thank you very much for an excellent service and quality turf.”

“Quality turf and good customer services from TOL. Only problem was the contracted delivery. The order was before 7pm on Thursday but didn’t turn up til Friday morning with a couldn’t care attitude. Some black patches had formed but these have recovered following good advice from TOL customer service.”

“The delivery was great and arrived exactly on time. I was however a little dissapointed with the turf supplied. I would say around 75% of the turf was in great condition, however 25% of the turf seemed to have black marks that looked like mould or rotting grass or tears and holes... I continued to lay these pieces as i needed them to cover the back garden and thought that the scars would turn green and grow as usual once it was laid. This however does not seem to be the case as it is now turning a white colour and basically just soil. I am really happy with the service, but given a second chance I would report the "scarred" turf as soon as i discovered it or source my turf elsewhere. I took some pictures to show the turf and tried to highlight the scarred areas that are now dead.”

“Turf arrived on time and was delivered to my garden. Unfortunately upon opening the turf it was extremely dry and brittle, and a couple of rolls broke. After laying the turf only 2 days ago it is going yellow even after regular watering. I could only inspect the visible turf on the pallet, the turf underneath was hidden. I am hoping that I can recover the laid turf. Turf does not appear to have been watered prior to delivery. It is dying rather quickly now.”

“Easy web site with good information to help make the correct choice. The company contacted us to confirm delivery date. The turf arrived on time and well packaged, the delivery driver was very helpful placing the delivery on our drive. The lawn was laid the same day by our contractor, a week later it’s looking fantastic. I would definitely recommend this company.”

“Had delivery of turf, which was prompt and arrived in good time. Upon inspection however found a number of pallets with the grass of very poor condition. One pallet the grass rolls I was unable to even lift off without them breaking up. After numerous correspondence the best the company could offer was for me to pay them over £70 for delivery of another pallet. So much for the company moto of 'Caring for our customers & Our pleasure is your satisfaction with the product'. If you order, just hope it arrives to your satisfaction , otherwise expect to pay more for a something you wanted right in the first place.”

“The turf arrived on time and as requested, the top soil had to be delivered the following day due to the pallet machine broke down and no way could it be lifted from the lorry. The top soil was delivered as promised and all in all the lawn looks brilliant”

“Very nice turfs, a week later and first cut done - looking lovely Like anything in the garden, there’s no short cut to a good lawn and prep work prior to laying is paramount - laying these turfs on poorly prepared ground won’t give you a ‘Wimbledon’ finish Great delivery service and would definitely use again”
