“Took delivery of Jubilee Turf and (Shade-tolerant) Meadowmat. The Jubilee turf was the best I've seen: looks to be a tight weave on an excellent base with unvarying consistency, even across rolls. Arrived in perfect condition. I'm inclined to be a bit more circumspect about the meadowmat: some of the edges look to be quite patchy, and the base was of poor consistency - very thin in some places and very thick in others. Website says it delivered mown but all I can see at the moment is a tangle of long grasses. Hopefully, it will settle and right itself. Other positives are that the team are very easy to contact and pleasant to deal with. They actually missed an agreed delivery date due to an administrative error, but were apologetic and keen to make amends. Website is excellent and easy to navigate. If it wasn't for some misgivings over the meadowmat I'd give 5 stars rather than 4, but I'd certainly recommend the Jubilee turf to others.”

“The grass is lush. The gentleman who delivered it is a credit to the company. The only complaint would be that even though I used Turf onLines calculator I ended up with 10 extra rolls. I’ve double checked my measurements and they were correct. On saying that. The brother in law Is very happy with his free turf”

“Enough great turf. The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars is, the size of the turf. Around 15% ones are (10 or 15cm) shorter than others. And the depth is thicker than the guided size. You could prepare more deeper slightly to keep the same level with your patio.”

“Turf arrived about mid morning on the day. Did ask that driver would ring me about an hour before delivery so that I could be there. That didn't happen. Luckily the customer was home and rang me. For that reason I only gave 4 stars...would have been 5 otherwise”

“Ordered 19 turf and topsoil with chanced it with no specified timeslot. Arrived 11.30am and driver very pleasant and helpful. Turf good condition and very green but 2 had corners damaged from cutting machine and 1 was completely ripped and roll fell apart when reached for it from back of pallet. Fortunately had over ordered and didn't need 19 full lengths and able to use as ends and fill ins.”

“The turf was great but delivery a nightmare. The driver could not get the pallet to fit on tail lift of his truck which meant as it lowered several rolls of turf lifted off the pallet and unrolled in a heap under the truck. The driver just threw them back on the pile and laughed and shrugged. He left my shared drive with soil everywhere. Luckily we put the turf down straight away and I had bought extra so we didn’t have to use the 2 damaged rolls. I was happy enough with the final product that I couldn’t be bothered to complain to turf online but luckily that was just because I had bought too much and it didn’t effect the final result. My turf is now growing well and hopefully it will continue. I would still recommend them, I’m just putting it down to being unlucky with my delivery driver.”

“We ordered 3 large bags of low-fertility wildflower topsoil... ask me next year if it worked. The delivery planning was excellent and it arrived as expected. A couple of reasons for 4 stars instead of 5: there are no arrangements to collect and reuse the pallets and bags; and I'm not 100% convinced the soil is totally peat free. Otherwise very good service, thank you.”

“Overall excellent. Grass is growing nicely. Near perfect turf (couple of bits shouldn't have made it through quality control) and grumpy delivery driver brings score down just a tad.”

Hi Michael. Thank you for your review of Turf Online. The Traditional Meadowmat contains 34 species of British native wild flowers and I'm sure it will not disappoint. Please do let us know how you get on, we would love to see how it looks in full flower later in the year.
