“Turf was delivered on time and is of good quality. Very disappointed however with the quality of the top soil. I found 2 bits of glass in it and countless bits of netting. I was also expecting better quality soil for the price you pay.”

“The sedum is lovely. The ordering process was simply and delivery was straight forward. There were a few more weeds than expected in the sedum ( grass and clover) and some of the sedum was quite thin when it was unrolled, especially at the ends. Some of the thin bits have died off a few days after laying so it looks a little patchy. Hoping that in time it will recover and the weeds won't come back once the sedum is established.”

“Turf arrived rather late in the day so it was good I was not laying it that day. However grass once laid was green and despite lack of rain initially it now looks really vibrant and is growing well.”

“36m of sedum delivered - driver extremely courteous and pleasant. Unfortunately, around 8m ie., rolls on on the top of the pallets extremely dry - may not survive. Laid and watered within 4 hours so will wait and see.”

“The quality of the turf and price very good, my only Criticism was the delivery company driver was very rude when dropping off turf!! This wouldn’t stop me using them however as everything went like clock work”

“We bought the shadesman 20m square. We gave two rolls left over so pretty much must used up! We’ve just laid the grass a few days ago and seems great quality, and best for our garden - we have 260 degree round garden and we have created a elongated area bordered with sleepers within which the grass lies - majority of garden is on shade so seemed the best turf to get. We are watering it everyday so effect is still to be noted but so far so good and happy with delivery too.”

“Excellent live chat service. Lovely quality turf. The only reason I haven't given a 5 star review is that when it arrived a few of the bottom layer turf rolls were hanging off the pallet. Other than that very happy. Delivery driver was really helpful too!”

“Very pleased with the turf bought, it arrived safely in good condition and has now rooted nicely and is growing vigorously. The fertilisers I bought seem to be fine but the package was quite extensively damaged which could have seen the products not arriving in their entirety!”

“The ordering and delivery was easy to do and arrange. The scotsman doing the delivery was willing to do beyond what I expected. It's a shame, though, that I didn't try to get a timed delivery; worrying that arranging it for "on the day" would mean it arrived far too late in the day to lay (180m2, so not a trivial job) it actually arrived very early the day before. Most laid within 26 hours, but by then almost 20% had turned brown and died. I had slightly over-ordered, so some of the turfs were laid another 24 hours later in another corner of the garden; they were still fine and so I've swapped a few around a week later so it doesn't look quite so bad. It was never going to be a bowling green anyway, so I'll have to live with the rustic look. The moral is: lay it all IMMEDIATELY the turf arrives, and contact TOL if you have any doubts about the quality. Otherwise, as I discovered, you're on your own. The green bits have grown very well so far so there's no way I can fault the quality of the turfs that survive - my mower will need an upgrade!”

“I ordered x3 separate orders of 350m2. First load was brilliant and the reason I buy tirf from yourself. Second load 1 pallet was brilliant the other 4 pallets where not good! Cut to thin, dodgy ends! Hoping the next order next week will be back good quality. Thanks Broadleaf ground maintenance.”

“I ordered 70sqm of their Jubilee turf. It was delivered on time in the right day, and was laid straight away. I noticed a few rolls had evidence of heat stress but after a few emails with Stuart, replacement rolls were organised and laid a few days later. So far the turf looks great, the real test will be in a few weeks after it’s first cut. Would recommend due to ease of ordering, rapid delivery and good service in terms of replacement rolls.”

“Turf is of a good standard and was delivered on the day advertised. I searched online and Turfonline was the only retailer that would supply less than 20m squared (I didn’t need much). Only downside was the turf was delivered at 6pm which didn’t leave much time to get it laid (recommended to lay turf on the day of delivery). Luckily I only had a small area to cover. I would highly recommend Turfonline for quality if turf and ease of purchase/order.”

“Easy to use the online tools to work out and order my turf, soil and fertilizer requirements. I was emailed before the delivery date to let me know that the soil type had changed due to stock which I liked. The Jubilee turf arrived well wrapped and healthy. Looks grt and is maintaining its health one week into laying. They don't 5 stars because around 9 or 10 roles where ripped and broken. Some of them actually unusable. Thankfully I over estimated so I had plenty for the area I wanted to cover. I could also used damaged roles to cut and fit around awkward areas. An area for improvement would be - cutters and packers need to take more care not to damage roles when preparing delivery's.”

“The turf was good. Delivered on the day. However I booked 7.5t truck as access is bad here. It turned up in an 18t. No chance! The driver was very helpful and met us at the main roadside and we unloaded it into our trailer. Not ideal, especially as I had preorganised it. I did write an email but got no response. Also tried many times to call but again no response.”
