“Turf is of a good standard and was delivered on the day advertised. I searched online and Turfonline was the only retailer that would supply less than 20m squared (I didn’t need much). Only downside was the turf was delivered at 6pm which didn’t leave much time to get it laid (recommended to lay turf on the day of delivery). Luckily I only had a small area to cover. I would highly recommend Turfonline for quality if turf and ease of purchase/order.”

“Easy to use the online tools to work out and order my turf, soil and fertilizer requirements. I was emailed before the delivery date to let me know that the soil type had changed due to stock which I liked. The Jubilee turf arrived well wrapped and healthy. Looks grt and is maintaining its health one week into laying. They don't 5 stars because around 9 or 10 roles where ripped and broken. Some of them actually unusable. Thankfully I over estimated so I had plenty for the area I wanted to cover. I could also used damaged roles to cut and fit around awkward areas. An area for improvement would be - cutters and packers need to take more care not to damage roles when preparing delivery's.”

“I bought the standard turf which was a good price. It arrived within a few days. TBH it was a little yellow when it arrived but once laid it has taken quickly and recovered its colour.”

“The turf was good. Delivered on the day. However I booked 7.5t truck as access is bad here. It turned up in an 18t. No chance! The driver was very helpful and met us at the main roadside and we unloaded it into our trailer. Not ideal, especially as I had preorganised it. I did write an email but got no response. Also tried many times to call but again no response.”

“Outstanding turf. Still as green as when it first arrived. Even on the joints. Only downside was upon delivery 4 rolls had been ripped on the sides of the pallet, but plenty to do the job.”

“Quick delivery and arrived without any problems. The grass is great, I have had turf that’s been thicker in the past (and more expensive) so this was noticeably thinner and there were some rolls with damaged edges and chunks of grass torn due to being dry, however it was an unusually hot month! The turf has been laid and is looking good! That’s the main thing really!! Hopefully some of the joins will grow over as there’s some small gaps from the torn edges, but then again in terms of balancing what the turf costs against the good job it’s done, it’s absolutely great! Can’t comment much more on growth as it’s only been down a week, but there’s no signs of browning or dying off anywhere at all, so it does do exactly what it says... it gives you a lovely lawn :)”

“75 sq foot of turf deliverd on time Driver was friendly and turf was nice and green and cut good , only giving 4 stars as most of the rolls had little white fungus growing on them but watering took it away , let’s hope it grows :)”

“Very pleased the Cottage Garden Mix turf. The order process is very easy to follow. Delivered on time and in the condition expected. Now a week after being laid, it seems to be doing well and the plant mix, though not flowering (bit too soon yet!!) has started to grow.”

“Nice Turf, arrived on time. My grass has started to turn a little yellow. But we have had extraordinarily hot weather of late so it probably unfortunately expected. Nevertheless, I would recommend this company.”

“The turf os very good quality and is looking awsome after over a week of arriving and being layed down. The only reason i'm not giving 5 stars is because your calculator is not right, i gave my area measure and it told me i'd need 35 rolls of which i only ended up using 23 to cover the mencioned area.”

“Good price compared to other companies, easily booked online with max 7.5 tonne lorry, advising them single track lane access and giving My3Words location. Telephone call a couple of days later they couldn't deliver the quantity I wanted as too heavy for the lorry, it had to be split over 2 deliveries because of the weight. I had to then pay an extra £20-something pounds for the second delivery coming the day before the first. Fair enough. Another phone call the following day saying they couldn't make that rearranged day as it was the day after a Bank Holiday so it would have to be the day after the first. I had labour already booked for the original day and it was too short notice but had to be early delivery not anytime - so I had to pay another £20-odd pounds... The first delivery came on a massive lorry, 14-18 tonnes, and he struggled to access the property, and it was only 2 pallets that came off it, 85 rolls of turf split between them and he arrived about 11am. The second day was a 7.5 tonne lorry, again 2 pallets and easy for him to unload and turn around. Good quality turf marred only by extra charges that were nothing to do with me and I couldn't really argue about as I'd already paid the nearly £600 for the original order... so not quite as good value as I originally thought. :-(”
