I advise others not to use this company and buy your bed elsewhere. Terrible customer service and a poor quality bed. The bed came in about twenty different boxes and some of it was broken, huge cracks in places like the bed base. This is a very expensive bunk bed we expected to last for many years. It came a day late, their fault not ours and so we had to build it the Sunday instead of the planned Saturday. They are not open for advice on that day and don't respond to emails. So we informed them by email of the breaks and built what we could of the bed so our 5 and 3 year old had somewhere to sleep that night as we had taken down their old beds, as you would for space to build. It took my partner about 9 hours to build it, with a one year old also and me pregnant and trying to rearrange our kids room in the middle of a lockdown. We heard nothing from the company Monday and when I rang them late that day the woman was extremely rude on the phone, did not once apologise for a faulty product or the inconvenience to us in the wasted time. I wanted a new bed sent as taking parts off and replacing will weaken the wood and the structure and it will be a sub-quality bed that won't last. Not what I expected for what I paid. We were told that the clauses in the terms and conditions say we can't have it replaced if we have built any of it. It is expected we check it on delivery before letting the driver know, or inform them and get advice immediately. Well we couldn't as they weren't open and the driver wasn't hanging around to catch covid whilst we opened and checked twenty boxes. We could only have a discount or replacement parts because of this. I asked to speak to a manager as I was not happy to accept this. One was not available. When the manager still hadn't called me by 5 the next evening I rang and was told she'd ring at 6. No one rang so we emailed the next day and were told a manager called with no answer and left a voicemail. Neither of our phones had either missed calls or voicemails, so they told outright lies as funnily enough modern technology records these things, which I think disgraceful. We are very unhappy we have had to accept replacement parts and it took them four days to sort this re-order out. They obviously expected us not to build it and our kids to sleep on the floor for 4 days. We still haven't received them so are children are still in a half built bed. The price we paid, we do not expect this shoddy quality and really rude, deadpan, unapologetic and unsympathetic customer service, except for one girl we encountered called Amy. They could have easily had the parts sent out express at least, but no. We are building some other furniture for our girls room this weekend but we won't be able to finish this job as we can't sort the storage that comes with the beds as it will need dismantling rebuilding when we get the parts. This will be another 9 plus hours out of our time. We have been offered no recompense for the inconvenience caused. It was highly stressful to deal with this company, which is not good when pregnant and I would advise against using them, as if you have faulty parts they will treat you terribly and you will feel very aggrieved.

Placed order 29th December 2020 for delivery between 8am and 6pm on 30th December. Stayed in all day. No delivery on 30th. No explanation or contact from Happy Beds. Sent 2 emails and a Facebook messenger message requesting an update. On 31st December, finally located Head Office phone number. Talked to a girl who tried her best to help, however, the order was in a "backlog at the Hub" and they would "try" to deliver by 3rd January 2021!! I asked for an immediate refund. No joy. That takes "5-7 working days, sorry that's the company policy" to say I'm fuming is an understatement. When I asked to speak to a Manager, she said "sorry, there isn't anyone else you can talk to" . So, they have my money, have not fulfilled the order or delivery and I cannot get my money back. Lesson learned. Buy from a cheap Company, receive cheap service.

Whatever you do, do not use this company. I was delivered a bed which was manufactured incorrectly. The headboard was actually missing the bracket to attach the sides to. I only found this out after I had carried a solid wood Superking bed up a flight of stairs. After letting Happy Beds know about this, they then took a week to come back to me with an answer (refusing to talk to me over the phone). They said there was nothing they could do apart from get someone to turn up and take the bed away. I tried to get them to send me a new bracket, and I would fit it myself, but no. Incapable of even doing that. I ended up going on Amazon myself, paid £10 for a bracket, paid £50 for a handyman, and sorted the job myself. Despite all of these issues I have been through I asked Happy Beds to provide some kind of compensation for this and they said they wouldn't even do that. There's no wonder they have so many bad reviews - they treat their customers terribly and should just change their name to "We don't give a.... beds"

Bought a very expensive bed from these people, I had a further question about the weight of the ottoman where I discovered that the mattress I was using is considered too heavy although nowhere does it state a max weight for the frame ?? The gas pistons are to help lift the frame so surely they have a max operating load?? so after emails back and forth to find out about mattresses they direct me to look at their suggestions offering 10 % off so I choose one and then they say I can't get the discount as I already have the bed. £1300 bed and they won't authorise £40 off a £400 mattress. Absolutely shocking customer service. I would never buy from them again. Basically, once they have your money, it's your problem, not theirs.

TERRIBLE..AVOID AVOID AVOID.... Bed delayed 5 times. I had to chase them to find out where the item was. They could not careless. I've now cancelled the order. Item ordered 8th Aug 2020, it's now 5th Nov 2020 and still no bed and they can not tell me when I will receive it. All blame placed on a 3rd party. DO NOT USE, pay a little extra and go elsewhere. Most sites price match.

This “company” are an absolute disgrace, advertise the bed I ordered as, “will be delivered in 1-10 working days”, I waited 3 weeks but heard nothing and the only correspondence I had was the confirmation email, I called them and asked what was going on to be told it would be delivered this week and had to wait longer as I had the free delivery! What a cheek, so a bed should be free delivery when you spend £300 on it! I then get an email the next day to say due to “stock issues” I would have to wait another 3 weeks! What a coward to not tell me on the phone a d absolute LIES they tell, they were still advertising the bed as in stock on their website, they also have an account on eBay and amazon stating 10 currently in stock and delivery much sooner than my new expected delivery date, even when I had already waited 3 weeks with my son on the floor on a mattress! Which they knew about! I’m seething! It’s become crystal clear that they will just keep pushing your delivery back further and further, giving your bed to someone who’s ordered after you but willing to pay an additional £25, I told “happy beds” where to stick their bed! I wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole if they were the last bed provider going! I want my money refunded ASAP and will be reporting you to trading standards first thing!

I purchased a bed from Happy Beds which arrived damaged. One of the divan drawers was broken and one of the five feet would not go in - there was simply no hole for it to fit in. Overall the quality of the bed seemed very cheap and somewhat shoddy. It was quite cheap so I guess sometimes you get what you pay for ! I complained and explained that having got rid of our old bed already in preparation for the new bed , we would be without a bed until the new one was delivered. Despite this, we had to wait nine days for the new bed to arrive, only to find that this time two of the feet would not go in. Clearly quality control is something that Happy Beds know nothing about. I would have thought that they would be even more careful to make sure they were sending out a good product the second time around! I would not recommend Happy Beds at all and will not be buying from them again.

I bought an ottoman bed in preparation to gain space for my newborn. I bought the bed in July but the delivery date kept postponing. We are now in Oct and still haven't got the bed. Nearly no info from company, only pre-written email, this company does not care about their customers at all! Please avoid at all costs!!

You reviewed Happy Beds Add photo Emma 6 reviews 2 stars: Poor Just now Not a happy customer of happy beds! Not a happy customer of happy beds!! We received an email on a Monday stating a date of delivery which was the Thursday, so on the Tuesday I cheekily asked in work to take annual leave two days later to take delivery of the bed. On Wednesday we get an email to state delivery is Friday?? So after several hours on the Wednesday explaining I'd taken the day off and sending screenshot of the email confirming delivery for Thursday I was reassured the bed would be coming Thursday and it was an error by the courier. Later Wednesday night we received another email from the courier stating delivery would be Friday!! So I had taken a day of annual leave to sit at home and do nothing all day when I have 3 children I would rather have spent that time with!! I work for the NHS so haven't had the pleasure of time off during the pandemic while they have been at home so my annual leave days are precious to me. However after getting back in touch with happy beds they weren't understanding of helpful in any way at all.... They offered me two pillows for my children to compensate for me taking that time off!!! I wasn't happy with that at all but I wasn't getting anywhere and they didn't care to be honest about the mistakes they had made. Well the pillows turned up today and I have to say I wouldn't have paid the money to send them out to anybody let alone as an apology. They are one ball of filling in the middle with inches of empty material, they are fit for bin only. Honestly the cheek of them. I would not use this company again for very poor service from day one. Spend your money elsewhere!!!

We are £100 out of pocket thanks to Happy Beds. Happy Beds charged us £100 for a mattress that we bought which was immediately returned in full packaging unused as it would not fit up our stairs. Avoid Avoid Avoid. Happy Beds provide a great service - IF you have ordered the correct product and there are no issues. However, I would urge anyone to exercise extreme caution in using this company. We moved into a rental accommodation and needed to buy mattresses. We bought a mattress; the processing was very smooth and the delivery very prompt. Up to this point, we had no complaints. Unfortunately the mattress would not fit up the stairs and the couriers took it immediately away again, advising that their management would call us within 30 minutes to verify the reason that they weren't able to deliver, and that we had to contact Happy Beds ourselves to arrange a refund. This all happened, and Happy Beds notified us that there would be a charge of £100 for the return of a mattress (that cost £239.99) that was returned to them immediately. We disputed this charge with them as being unreasonable but they would not budge as they said this charge was incurred by needing to use the couriers to return and store the mattress. When we pointed out that other courier costs would be around £55 (having googled), they offered to charge us £25 to have it sent back so that we could arrange to send it back to them via a cheaper courier!! It has cost us £100 for a genuine mistake. We shall not use them again and would urge caution if considering using this company.

The service is a complete joke!! They offer mattress options on a ‘build your own bed’ menu that they know don’t fit the base. ?? And then take no responsibility for it or returning the large items.!! Also, They take no responsibility for their delivery partners after offering a ‘2 man deliver to room of choice’ option. They then dumped 3 entire beds on the front of the building, leaving one person to do the heavy lifting to the 3rd floor!. Their so called “customer service manager” was incredibly RUDE and dismissive. I regret ever spending any money with or coming across this company

BEWARE as they do not honour their 5year manufacturer warranty. My bed developed a defect less than a year and they did not investigate. I had to bring a charge with my credit card company to get my full £420 back!. BEWARE!

Was left high and dry by happy beds. I wished I had read the reviews before I used them. Between lost annual leave days, waiting in for delivery’s that never came, lost mattresses? How you can lose a mattress I don’t know, left sleeping on a sofa for 2 weeks, slow, matter of fact communication with no concern for the trouble their mistakes had caused us, unprofessional customer service entirely focussed on protecting their assets rather than putting things right. Their resolution for all of the above? Wait another week for another mattress or be refunded. It was out as bluntly as that, no offer o a few pounds off for my trouble or anything. I took the refund, will spend my money with another company who hold their customers in higher regard than Happy Beds. Would advise people to avoid them

Please don't buy anything from this company. They ship damaged goods and blame it on you. And they are just after customer money. No value, ethics or curtesy. Not just me, my mates had similar exercise. All we can do with our £300 furniture is just dump it at the waste yard without using for a day. Glad that my son didn't get injured while using their project.
