AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Customer service is terrible, delivery is awful and the bed is poor quality (and will probably arrive broken as will any replacements) ordered on the 4th of May, many many failed promises on replacement part delivery dates and finally had a replacement for a broken part arrive 27th Oct broken. PLEASE PLEASE AVOID. The hoops we have to jump through to get our money back is ridiculous!

Absolutely APPALLING Customer Service If I could leave ZERO stars I would. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. Ordered 2 mattresses, the courier email/time arrived early morning on the Monday before I was due into work, I work in a school so cannot just arrive late or take time off. As I always do with all couriers, I left a signed note on the door asking them to leave the mattresses unattended in the back garden. So started the beginning of a nightmare correspondance with this company. The courier (Panther) would not rearrange delivery without Happy Beds say so, but when I contacted Happy Beds to ask them to rearrange delivery and confirm with Panther that they could leave the mattresses unattended, Happy Beds refused to do so unless I pay a £40 redelivery charge. It was either this or pay £100 cancellation charge, which they would automatically take from my order total and refund the rest. Happy Beds said unless I pay the redelivery charge WITHIN 48 HOURS they would automatically take the £100 from me. They claimed that I had received 24 hours notice of delivery time but I HAD NOT. I pointed out that as a customer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 I had 14 days to change my mind and was entitled to a full refund, but they REFUSED to do this. They insisted I had had 24 hours notice of delivery and should have known to let them know prior to delivery that they could leave them unattended, even though a) this did not happen and b) they did NOT state that I had to tell them this or there would be a redelivery charge. Happy Beds REFUSED to let me speak to a manager or supervisor, instead Caroline just kept refusing to allow me. Caroline (on phone) and Kyi (by email) consistently refused to abide by my consumer rights, instead insisting that the £40 delivery charge or the £100 cancellation charge were my ONLY options. I contacted Panther the courier company who confirmed that they DO NOT charge for redelivery. I phoned Happy Beds and told them this, to be told that I should not be asking the courier company this. Eventually Happy Beds agreed that they would waive the delivery charge IF I could get it in writing from Panther that they do not charge. I received notice from Panther that they would indeed tell Happy Beds they do not charge and could email them this, but when I told Happy Beds THEY HUNG UP ON ME. From here they refused to engage with me on this issue, even though they had said they would waive the charge. Happy Beds are obviously charging this ludicrous, hugely inflated redelivery charge to line their own pockets. In the end I had no choice but to pay the delivery charge to avoid losing £100 - therefore I felt held to ransom over my mattresses, with no option to further the complaint process by speaking to anyone senior, and a blatant refusal to refund me in its entirety. After paying the £40, Happy Beds told me Panther would redeliver on the Monday. HOWEVER, THEY DID NOT TURN UP, even though my daughter had taken a day off from Sixth Form to ensure the whole thing did not happen again. So not only did they take my money, they DID NOT EVEN PHONE PANTHER TO REBOOK IT. Panther confirmed this to me after I phoned them. Happy Beds eventually redelivered to me, after a hell of a lot of stress and anxiety over this, but they STILL refused to refund me the delivery charge even though they completely messed up by not even booking the redelivery, AND they lied that it was done when they hadn't even phoned Panther. I would NEVER EVER use this company again, and I will be telling everyone I know about my awful experience to ensure they don't use them either. I have attempted to contact the Financial Ombudsman, manager of Happy Beds and CEO of Happy Beds and await to hear back from them...

If we could choose 0 we would have. We ordered 2 beds and 2 mattresses from Happy Beds on August 13th. Paid £40 for 2 men delivery on Aug 25th. Not only nothing was delivered, but there was no communication from Happy Beds nor delivery company about it and when we checked - one of the beds was not even in their system. We spoke to their customer service on August 26, they apologized and guaranteed delivery on Sep 1. We explained that we're moving in on Sep 3rd and therefore cannot accept further delays. This time only the mattresses were delivered - we were informed by the delivery company 30 MINUTES before the delivery that they don't have our beds. Other than a lukewarm apology, Happy Beds insisted on delivering on Sept 3rd. We explained that if not delivered by 9am we will not be able to accept the items. The delivery company came at 11.30am. We are appalled by the lack of professionalism of Happy Beds and would strongly advise you to look elsewhere for your beds/mattresses. The minuscule price different is not worth the stress of having to deal with them.

I bought Signature Crystal 3000 Pocket Sprung Orthopaedic Nature Fillings Mattress (King size) on March 2021. It wasn’t one week yet, We couldn’t sleep well as it’s too hard for us. I contacted the customer service, she said we need to pay for £120 for returning, either returning or replaced the new one. I think it’s ridiculous! They’re so proud that their bed is perfect to everyone But it’s not true. Finally, we decided to buy memory foam topper from Amazon about £135 to helping us sleep better with that bed. So if you’re looking for buy the mattress, please be careful to buy online that you can’t try it. Not buy it because of good reviews only. If not, maybe you have to pay extra money for returning or replaced new one. Ps. I’m not sure about the price that £120 or £130. **The customer service wasn’t helpful at all. Not recommended.

I was delighted to see that 'happy' beds had a whole section of beds only measuring 6f3 (192cm)! We have a very small room and could only go up to 195cm, so after months of searching we were just over the moon to find the bed we wanted at the right size. We had to wait a whooping 3 months to get it delivered but it was going to be worth it..... The bed, with the end panels measured a massive 205cm! When I queried this, I was alerted to the small print which does say that the bed does NOT actually measure what it is advertised as measuring. Even though we have not got most of it out of box (only side panel to measure, as we were requested to do) they will not take it back or refund our nearly £400! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! BAD ADVERTISING AND BAD CUSTOMER CARE!

My Mrs and I bought a new house & as an anniversary gift I bought her new furniture as she had spend the covid pandemic working very hard in the hospital. We both liked a bed & ordered it online on 23rd march ( order no 1000252562) , for the first time from happy beds. The delivery date was far ( I.e 20th to 26th of may-21) but it was accommodated as in the mean time I had disembarked from my ship to spend time with family . My mrs. received an email on 20th-may that order is delayed & delivery date is 14th July. Today 7th July I hve received another email that there is a further delay & now the expected date is 11/Aug. I'm extremely frustrated as I'm again onboard my ship & the summers plans has been ruined due to happybed poor service . Will not recommend this to anyone.

The bed was delivered broken - they collected the broken item but couldn't provide replacement parts. Refund was agreed - no refund has been forthcoming despite chasing after 2.5 months. Fraud case now being opened with the credit card company.

Very disappointed with the Ocean Gel Memory and Reflex Foam Cool Orthopaedic LayGel Mattress: this is nothing else than very soft. It is said to be medium/firm and it's so soft that I am pretty sure they did not deliver the right item. Of course, the customer service would not acknowledge this and were not understanding. I was ready to return it and purchase another one from them but following the fact they let me down, I have decided to move to another Company.

Received 3 box’s of 4 For a bunk bed Informed that the missing box was going to be sent on Friday, After receiving the par order on Wednesday, On Friday the delivery was scheduled and then cancelled by happy beds…later on during the day, So it’s over the weekend we’ll have to wait until at least Monday as the office that deals with this leaves off at 4pm The kids old bed were dismantled and disposed of so not a happy customer at all.

Horrendous customer service. We recieved a confirmation date for our delivery, and I managed to organise time off work to receive it. Subsequently, we recieved another email stating that it was in fact not in stock and would be delivered at some point in the future. They refused to organise the delivery around my schedule this time, and I told them that I would be in contact with a new date. Instead of waiting for that, their couriers dumped the delivery outside our door in the rain one day with no prior notice.

Do not buy mattresses from Happy Beds! Bought a bunkbed for my toddler and mattress arrived with torn packaging and filthy all down one side. I complained to Customer Services and was offered cleaning fluid?! The agents I spoke to didn't seem to appreciate the issue i.e. I wanted the product in new condition, as that's what I had ordered and paid for. I rejected this offer and (as the original packaging was damaged) was told I should to wrap the mattress in bin liners myself to return. I rejected this offer and asked for a % refund. This was rejected by Happy Beds. Am throwing out the mattress (no idea where it's been!). Poor quality standards and poor complaint resolution. Back to John Lewis...

Simply terrible service. Delivered a kids bed set with numerous broken / severely damaged parts. Offered a paltry GOGW to keep and then thought acceptable to leave a 7 year old without a bed for another 6 days because they can't process an exchange any faster. Avoid at all costs.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I ordered a quadruple sleeper and 2 mattresses to go with it mid January to be delivered early February. After many delays with distribution it was finally going to be delivered on a Monday late March. As it was a school day I asked if it could be delivered outside school times to which I was told no problem they would let the delivery company know and I would be given a 3 hour time slot the day before. Saturday evening I receieved a message telling me the delivery would be 7am-10am (right at school time!). By this time neither Happy beds nor the delivery company were open until Monday so I had no chance to argue/ change this, luckily a friend of mine could do the school run for me. So all arrives on the Monday and I opened the first box of bed parts. As well as the overall quality being absolutely horrendous almost every single piece of wood was damaged! I called happy beds immediately and requested they come and pick everything back up for a full refund. They said they would only pick up and refund the bedframe not the mattresses as there was "nothing wrong with them" unless I paid them £120 to collect them - absolutely ridiculous! The majority of the staff on the phone were incredibly rude and unhelpful. Damaged bed was supposed to be picked up on Thursday 1st April between 8am-6pm. I stayed in all day with my 2 young children, our flat full of now 2 mattresses and 4 large boxes of wood, got to half 5 and no sign so called the company and was told that the driver ran out of legal driving hours and that I would have to wait until the following Tuesday before they would come to get it all! Tuesday came and I again waited and waited however this time I called non stop until the driver finally came at 4.30pm. By far the worst experience I have ever had with a company. Stay clear!

I have never dealt with such an awful, incompetent and unprofessional company. I ordered a bed with a 5 year warranty. It was poor quality and did not last more than a year. Naturally i asked them for a refund. Here is where it gets unbelievable...their excuse is that they cannot get hold of the manufacturer. Utter lies. If you care about your money don't spend it with happybeds.

Conmen. Advertise on Topcashback to offer you money back on your purchases. Decided to use Happy Beds over another retailer as the cashback percentage was better. However after purchase they declined the cashback with no justification or proper reason. Despite repeated attempts to obtain a reason, am simply left with the same response. Raised a case with Financial Ombudsman. Duping people to buy from them with false promises.

Ordered a TV bed on Januray 11th, expected delivery delays due to the nature of the item along with Covid-delays. However I was then emails to say I wouldn't receive shipping confirmation (not even the actual delivery) my item until 7 days from April 1st. Asked for a refund which was acknowledged (expected 5-7 working days from receipt of the email). This time passed & when I followed up again I was told the refund had been "stuck in an automated payment system" & it would now be another 5-7 days. Terrible service not only in taking an order they knew they couldn't fulfill in any respectable amount of time, but then not to issue the refund allowing me to find a suitable replacement. Wouldn't recommend this company at all.
