Terrible service with Happy Beds. I ordered a king size ottoman. First the delivery was at 10.40 in the evening. I had to get out of bed to let them in. The next day I brought the headboard upstairs, after spending 10 mins removing all the staples and plastic wrapping I realised it was the wrong style. The next day my husband and I brought the bedbase up which is very heavy. When I unpacked it I noticed they sent a double not a king size base. I contacted them to rearrange pick up of wrong bed and delivery of correct bed. We had to take the time to repack headboard and base and carry them downstairs. We had to wait another 5 days before correct bed was delivered and wrong one collected. As we had got rid of our original bed we had to sleep on the floor. I had booked it to arrive on my time off work so had to organise someone to be in for second delivery which was very inconvenient. When I asked if they planned to offer any compensation they said no and sent out 2 awful cheap pillows which I do not need. I honestly felt like cancelling the whole order but we didn't want to carry on sleeping on the floor and wait longer for another bed through a different company. I would not recommend this company at all. For a bed that cost over £600 the service was shocking. Do yourself a favour and shop elsewhere. Happy beds, more like unhappy customer.

I bought a single bedframe for my son in August 2023 and after a few months the bed started squeaking. I did not have time until last week to email Happy Beds, and when I did they showed since the very first email and intrinsic unwillingness to assist. Their bed is clearly substandard and they are just not accepting this and issuing a refund as well as a sincere apology for the inconvenience they are causing. I emailed them everything they needed, including 3 videos clearly showing the bed squeaking and they are suggesting it's the mattress, which is not even being touched in one of the videos which proves them totally wrong (they are stating that the squeaking comes from the mattress)!!!! I asked to speak to a manager and I was refused this option. I am going to have to take further actions against these people through trading standards and the ombudsman and they are not owning up to the very poor bedframe and customer service they have provided to me so far. STAY WELL AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

Terrible quality Cabin Beds. Do not buy. They are flimsy and not built to last. Already having to replace.

Ordered a childs bed and mattress spending over £800 6 parts of the bed arrived damaged and the service from Happy Beds was very poor. Some of the parts are being replaced at my request but they refuse to deliver them at the weekend meaning I have to take another day off work (they do deliver on weekends, but their excuse is that the manufacturer won't pay the extra delivery cost for weekends). I had to build the bed using one of the damaged parts and despite initially offering a discount for the damage they are now being extremely difficult. I have spent countless hours taking pictures of the damage for them, sending codes from boxes, replying to their many messages. I will now need to take another day off work to receive the replacement parts. They offered me two free pillows as compensation which having spent almost £800 on a bed is frankly an insult. The bed was for my 5 year old son who was so excited to get a new bed. Unfortunately this company are not really interested when things go wrong.

Purchased mattress from happybeds.co.uk, when i made the purchase it said they will deliver it to a bedroom of my choice. The delivery company they used (panther) turned up and said they wont take it to the bedroom. They were rude and the delivery guys could barely speak english. I rang happybeds and the customer service told me they will have to come another day just to move the mattress into my bedroom. Had to get it moved myself because we had a sofa delivery coming and the mattress was left right by the door. Bad experience

Don't deliver what paid for and awful customer service. We paid an additional £25 to get bedroom delivery, instead of just a doorstep delivery. When the delivery crew arrived they said that they couldn't get it up the stairs without damaging the wall. The stairs are normal width and although there is a bend at the top (please note this is not an abnormal bend) the ceiling is high which does enable things to be swung around. We have had bigger wardrobes delivered and taken upstairs by another company and other beds/mattresses from other companies. The delivery crew for this bed said they would not take it upstairs as if they did damage the wall, they aren't liable and hence refused to do it. They said they would take some photos and told us to contact Happy Beds for a refund as they wouldn't deliver that service. I contacted Happy Beds and they have refused to give us a refund. I asked to speak to someone higher up and was told there wasn't a manager in the office today and no manager was customer facing! I was told to email which I did and have still been refused a refund as apparently the delivery crew attempted to deliver it to the room, which they didn't! They just said they aren't doing it. Happy beds... Unhappy beds more like! Amazingly people have slept upstairs in our house previously and we managed to get the bed upstairs without even touching the walls! Paid over £600 for a bed base and they won't even refund £25 when haven't provided the service we paid for. Won't be using again! Edit: After many emails and alot of time and hassle we finally got the £25 back, apparently out of 'good will.' Happy Beds replied to us with lies - our staircase is a normal width and no attempt was ever made by the delivery drivers to take it upstairs. Now this may be an issue with the delivery firm they use, but as we stated to Happy Beds we shouldn't have to be liable for this cost when it wasn't out fault. To me, the whole pay £25 for room delivery is a scam - or at least out delivery drivers had no intention to take it to the room

Ridiculous they take your money they expect you ti get a email to find out your delivery expectations but not guaranteed to then go on line once you have stayed in until they got you in and once delivered to get instruction to complete your design on the objects you ordered on line if you have any disabilities ring them and you get can’t help you ring a courier to send back customer care of course unless you are mathematically or into constructed your bed Bet it takes longer than you think!

Awful company and mattress quality - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I bought a king size mattress about 2 months ago, and it's already sunk in the middle. They are voiding my warranty because apparently i was supposed to flip the mattress every week for 6 weeks and every 6 weeks thereafter?! Have i bought a mattress or a pillow? Their so called Platinum mattress quality is actually rubbish. DO NOT USE THEM - their so called warranty is a lie.

This company seek garbage products made from cheap chipboard and send out damaged beds with missing parts and when you try to complain and send it back they make it so awkward for you and leave you hanging for days on end with giant boxes taking up your house saying they are waiting in the manufacturer to get back to them. Never buy from them. They are the worst.

Truly abysmal customer service. Purchased a bed and paid an extra £25 for a specific delivery date (to room of choice), which confirmation email states gets you a 2-hour delivery slot to be notified in advance. Date selected as first day back from holiday and last day before school begins. Received a slot of 7am-9am, so cleared the kids room the night before to make space and set the alarm early to be up and ready. At 6.02am on delivery day I get a text saying timeslot no longer applicable. I contact both Happy Beds and their delivery company (Panther) to get a revised slot. Happy Beds are incapable of providing any information and the delivery company simply doesn't respond! ..... though delivery company does have the cheek to send another text at 9.33am saying "you will receive a time slot soon" (which I never did) and also (in caps) "CHARGES WILL APPLY FOR MISSED DELIVERIES", ignoring the irony of the fact that they themselves are the ones who have missed their own delivery!! Happy Beds disown responsibility for anything to do with the courier, and point immediately to their T&Cs, including the fact that they take no responsibility for the delivery company and the piece at the start of the T&Cs that says (and I paraphrase) if you don't like anything here then don't buy from us! - a salutory warning for anyone thinking of doing business with Happy Beds! The bed finally arrives after 7pm, a full 12 hours after 2-hour delivery window provided opened!! In the meantime I've had to stay in all day with the kids with zero food in the house (as first day back from holiday). And while I thought I would have all day to build the bed, I end up having no time until the weekend 4 days later ..... and kids room has been cleared, in line with the instructions on Happy Beds website. Do I get so much as a sorry from Happy Beds? No, just pointed to T&Cs saying delivery company is nothing to do with them ...... except that they chose the delivery company and they were paid the delivery charge!! Stay well clear and buy your bed elsewhere!

One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had! The bed got delivered over two weeks ago damaged, happy beds had been going back and forth with the manufacture to get replacement parts. After numerous chasing I finally advise them I just want a full refund as the manufacturer takes 5 working days to reply to their emails. Customer service told me it can't be any quicker, was rude, wouldn't allow me to speak to a manager or any other person on her team. Would avoid the company at all costs going forward!

My experience was far from Happy with this company. I paid extra for the mattress to be delivered and put in the bedroom. I live in a terrace house with straight stairs and normal size doors. On delivery I was advised that they would not be able to get the mattress up the stairs into the room and they could either leave it in the living room or take it away. As I live on my own I advised that they would need to take it away. I then recieved an email from Happy beds to say I can either pay £50.00 for it to be redelivered or £120.00 for cancelling my order!!! as per the terms and conditions. At no point did the mattres ever leave the comfort of the back of the lorry and you are not advised of these charges by the courier as they do not work for Happy Beds. So please think twice before paying for delivery and mattress removal unless you live in a bungalow with massive doors and no corners or a big tent you will be disappointed and out of pocket also you will probably have to sleep in the living room.

We purchased a bed for our child from this company and arrived faulty. They blamed us for not assembling the bed properly and asked us to send all the videos and photos, which did and they said safety latch issue. They keep saying that but not telling where and how. We had invited a carpenter friend to look at the bed and manual and if there is any issues. He confirmed that everything was done properly and the bed was faulty. After chasing for a week, they refuse to accept the faulty bed back, refused to provide the parts, and refused to provide us a refund. They are not obliging to the 14 days distance selling regulations? We are now taking this further and going to The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations Authorities. Very poor customer service and very very BAD bed company.

I should leave no stars! Completely and utterly failed to withhold their promise of delivery on said date! Day was agreed in plenty of time but they failed to load it onto the van. I wonder if they had it at all at time of purchase. Worse still if they did and simply forgot to include it. I was then told they would try to get it to me on the following day and later told the time slot had been missed! Missed by who? It was there mistake in the first place that the promise wasn’t kept and should automatically have been given slot for the next day. So I’m still waiting for this bed and therefore I’d not recommend buying from them.

It's quite difficult to find a contact number and the live chat is virtually non-existence.Nearly 10 days on and no one managed to get back to me on stock availability. After much searching I managed to find an email address, which I am guarding with my life as the only way of communication. The email option was fine and I cannot fault the person who had the curtesy to get back to me to notify me that the item is going to be out of stock for some weeks. My only concern now is that if I order from this company, and on receipt of the product, need to further speak with anyone, it will be impossible to do so. It's a shame, but please make it easier on your website for your customers to get in touch, or make the live chat actually 'live', as I still have not received a reply.
