There was a hiccup with the delivery: the mattress was not sent with the three packages making up the parts of the bed. When the mattress was sent for delivery, the movers only delivered two packages of the bed and the mattress. Why this was so, I don't know. Eventually the missing package was found and delivered. All this took about three weeks. There was a certain urgency about my having a bed, but the reason for the delay is inexplicable to me. There are all sorts of possibilities for this, but I'm not going to speculate. There was a problem when the missing package arrived: one corner was clearly damaged, then when the package was opened, it revealed two damaged items, the more severe one being one corner of one of the two bed boards. The Customer Service's Lizzy offered either a replacement or a discount. I chose the latter because I needed a bed badly! This leads me to make s few points. The instructions need to be clarified to the least detail, since some signs were perplexing, and left to guesswork. While the bed-parts were well presented, the packaging was horrendous. More time was taken in collecting the fragmented debris that was floating around and sticking at everything than for assembling the bed! My final remark is to complement the two Customer Service agents, namely, Lizzy particularly, and I think Paige, who were most helpful and did what was asked of them when dealing with my problem(s). don't think it was the fault of Happy Beds

I was sent a bed with a faulty headboard (manufacturing defect: one of screw holes was misaligned, which made it impossible to screw in the part / assemble the bed). I contacted Happy Beds customer service - and as the bed is now out of stock for the next 2 months, they can't send me a replacement part. They've asked me to repackage all the parts in the original packaging (which with a 124kg bed, is an effort!) and they'll collect it / refund me. But despite the inconvenience (and cost: given the weight of the bed, I had to pay someone to help me assemble it, even though they couldn't complete the task), Happy Beds won't offer any discount on buying a new bed with them - or even honour the discount I had on my original order (even if I ordered the same bed again). For a company that prides themselves on quality beds, the bed delivered to me should never have passed quality control - and it's disappointing that they would do nothing to try to make this up to a customer. I won't be buying from Happy Beds again.

Read all the small print beforehand: We recently purchased a new mattress for my daughter and it is very poor quality. I contacted Happy Beds to return it and was happy to pay for their return service, but please note - they don't have one!! They said I had to organize a courier - which was actually going to cost almost as much as the mattress. Not worth it! I will not order again!

They use unreliable delivery service. Beds never delivered on the first delivery date. We were then given another date but again they were not delivered that day! They were finally delivered on the 3rd occasion! We therfore wasted 3 days waiting. They never offered any compensation for wasted days, inconvenience and disappointment. Tough.

Nightmare, paid in full for bed and mattress and paid extra for specific delivery date/time and on that basis got rid of daughters bed, now told out of stock so when our daughter comes back from uni she has no bed, and they can't confirm delivery date, appalling service all the way!!!
