Needed a bed to sleep on before Christmas, arranged for delivery 22nd, they move to 23rd then rang me telling me 28th December! No bed for Christmas!

Product is good overall however it had a couple of minor faults and I tried to figure it out with Aimee in customer services. All she seemed to care about was telling me how I voided my warranty by correcting a manufacturing fault (drawer runners where fitted the wrong way round) than actually helping me resolve another issue around broken parts. Onus was put on me as a customer to go away and find part numbers for example. Happy Beds do not make, manufacture or store beds; they are merely an intermediary, I doubt many of the staff have seen another bed bar the one they sleep on. Although the product will ultimately be a good one (if the new parts ever arrive), I would never use Happy Beds again due to the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Another member of staff wouldn’t even talk to me because my case was being dealt with by Aimee. All I needed was a set of middle slat holders, hardly rocket science. A company overrun with bureaucracy and blaming the customer as a matter of course. AVOID at all costs.

We bought a Trundle bed from Happy Beds end of June. The bed started making creaking sounds in about 2 months time, with small wood chips falling from the bed. In just 2 weeks after that , the side of the bed holding the bottom portion literally broke/tore, causing my son to fall down while lying on it !! Instead of apologosing to us for the poor quality of bed that was delivered to us, Happy Beds came to a conclusion that it was because of misuse and that someone would have stood on the bed , which was completely untrue ! Extremely poor quality of bed delivered to us, dangerous too and on top of that very poor customer service. Imagine this had happened to a bunk bed and not a trundle bed with someone sleeping on the bottom bed !! Extremely unhappy.. avoid at all costs.

We have ordered a mattress from this company before and really liked it so ordered another. We were in the house all morning and the delivery company stated that they had attempted but failed to deliver and sent happy beds a copy of our front door. Happy beds said that it was in their Ts and cs that the only option now was to pay £50 for a new delivery or £100 for a refund- I was left with no choice but to pay £50 for a refund as they only allow 48 hours to make this decision or automatically go for the refund They delivered the mattress today and it is soiled and dirty. The options were to deliver a new one or refund me the £50 which they took from me I now have a brand new dirty mattress but at least I am not £50 out of pocket Not happy at all

The mattress I purchased was absolutely awful, has the equivalent of a sinkhole in the middle! Just two nights sleeping on it has led me to three physio sessions. Trying to return the item is proving harder than with any other retailer I've ever dealt with. No response to my initial email, then when chased up a rude response claiming they'd already responded (they hadn't). I'm now having to make videos to prove it's faulty, and they are claiming I need to wrap the mattress as new, arrange my own courier to return and have the courier go into the office to get a proof of receipt from them. Terrible company - please save your money and avoid!

AVOID AVOID AVOID! This retailer has a host of T&C's which mean that if you are unfortunate enough to receive a damaged or incorrect product, when you would normally expect a replacement with minor inconvenience to you, instead you could wait for weeks to get this sorted. You have to go through taking pictures, unpacking and repacking the product and emailing back and forth. I have never experienced this before, and will never use Happy Beds again. Read on if you'd like the full detail of my experience. We ordered a superkingsize bed from HappyBeds, delivery came on 1st September as agreed, great. That's unfortunately when the problems started - we opened the first package to discover several marks and damage on the main headboard and the second package to find more damage and stains on the footboard. Rather than open anything else, we immediately contacted HappyBeds to inform them. Happy Beds replied to say they needed the part numbers, which meant we had to open up all boxes fully to find the instruction manual (which is buried with all the screws etc). We did this, informed HB's of the part numbers, sent pictures of the damaged headboard and footboard, pictures of the boxes upon delivery and pictures of the delivery labels for the batch numbers. I asked then if HB's could arrange for a pick up and replacement at the same time (and ASAP, as we had no bed to sleep on). HB's replied to tell me that ''i am afraid the manufacturer would not look to exchange the full item should only parts 1 and 2 be affected'' (bear in mind that parts 1 and 2 are the headboard and footboard!) ''We would require you to check all of the individual parts and pieces for any manufacturing faults prior to raising a claim under your warranty, as we do state in the terms and conditions this must be done within 48 hours of receipt''. So, we then had to open all three boxes fully, and check against the instructions to see if we had all parts and if any more were damaged, then repack it all - as you can imagine, quite time consuming, inconvenient and stressful! We then advised HB's that the side rails for the bed were also damaged/marked, and that we had done the best we could with the other parts, but as we could not assemble the bed, we are not 100% sure if all okay. HB's then agreed to a full replacement (hurrah!) but earliest this could happen was another 4 working days in the future. We were also asked to reassemble and repackage the bed and send (yet more) pictures/proof of this having been done. I expressed my dissatisfaction at the length of time this was taking, all the the photographs needed and the fact we had already been sleeping on the floor for 3 days. I also explained that we had not assembled the bed (see earlier emails!) and it was all packaged and did not understand the need for more photo's. By this time, it was all very frustrating and stressful. HB's response was that they were sorry, that they are the online retailer only, 15 days is the trading standards turnaround and images of the packed item required otherwise they cannot arrange the exchange. I send 'evidence' of appropriate repacking the same day (3rd Sept) and had not received a response by 5th so chased up late afternoon and then the following morning. I was so stressed by this point.. my kitchen was full of huge boxes waiting to be collected, we were sleeping on the floor, and the whole process felt very uncaring and not good customer service. We received a response on 6th in the afternoon. Apparently my chaser emails had ''pushed my ticket to the back of the queue'' so the earliest we could now get a redelivery was 6 days later, on 12th - 11 days after the original delivery. So, new bed arrived as promised and old one collected. We opened all boxes. Most was okay but a small amount of damage on the main headboard (luckily on the back). I immediately advised HB's that I was going to keep this one, as I cannot go through all of that again but I was hoping for an offer of compensation for the stress, inconvenience and general rubbish customer service. After asking for more photos of how the packaging looks on delivery, plus the damaged part. HB's have offered £50 in recompense for the damaged part only. It's in their T&C's ''as a business, we do not offer monetary compensation, and cannot be held responsible for any consequential losses''. ''whilst we appreciate you may be unhappy with the process, we must remind you that you had agreed to following it whilst placing your order should any errors arise'' If you look through all of the other bad reviews, when something goes wrong, HB's have written themselves out of any obligation in their nonsensical 'T&C's' which they refer back to at every point possible. I've declined the £50 offer and am instead taking the time to warn others who may be considering buying from Happy Beds.

Very poor quality for beds, received all damaged and all faulty. Not satisfied at all, do not recommend to anyone. To be honest, I am surprised why people are saying it’s outstanding quality which is false hope for other customers.

Avoid this company at all costs!! Their after sales service is rubbish. We have bunk beds we cannot use because essential parts are missing, and Happy Beds are saying we must pay £25 to get the missing parts. This is ridiculous!!

A few years ago, I bought a mattress with a 5 year warrenty, after 1.5 years the mattress was sinking and my back started to hurt. I contacted happy beds for a replacement. Rather than being helpful, they did everything in their power not to send a replacement which worked to be fair. They requested I get a ruler the length of the bed to show the mattress sinking, good luck finding that ruler. The mattress when it arrived had no label on the bed and even though I had proof of purchase etc. Through no fault of my own, instead their QA, they refused to believe it was their mattress. Instead I had to keep the mattress and suffer chronic back pain as could not afford to replace.

Have ordered before from happy beds no issues so ordered a bed for xmas guests due to be delivered 20th, on the 16th at 5.30pm while out shopping and with no notification at all I get a call from the driver to say he is outside trying to deliver, so as dont want to wait for a re-delivery I rush back home only to find he only had part of the bed and has no idea where the 2nd part of my order is. His response "well it could still be sitting in the depot". I sign to say only 1 part recieved and the next day the tracking shows that both items have been delivered when they havnt at all. I contact happy beds who tell me it was re-scanned at the depot on 17th and will be with me on by 20th - didnt arrive, phoned happy beds again and was told it was scanned at the depot again on the 19th and again on 21st and "might" be with me tomorrow 22nd - clearly they have no clue where the rest of my bed is and refuse to send out a replacement part and im expected to just sit in all day on the off chance that its not been lost (which it clearly has) and that it "may" be delivered - NOT GOOD ENOUGH!! was intending to buy 2 sets of bunk beds after xmas but wont be using happy beds again unless they change the awful courier (XDP) who have really awful feedback on every site you visit!!! Now i have no bed for my guests to sleep in so have had to cancel them coming for christmas

Ordering process good. Delivery info and process Good , however on delivery of bed , 1 packaged item damaged. Delivery guys noted this , imaged it and logged it , along with being apologetic. I rang and logged this as per process , emailed issue with images and this is were things went drastically down hill. I imaged damaged box which had full info on it but they expected me to fully open box , get assembly instructions out and identify which part damaged so they could identify which part damaged and its individual part number. I said i'm not prepared to fully open box , take out all contents and identify which part and requested that full box be replaced. Alot of toing and frowing but they eventually agreed due to fact bed not being assembled straight away due to house being decorated. I received an email on 26th October stating a replacement item will be delivered in 5-7 working days. 13 working days later im still waiting . Happy beds is company name but im far from Happy. I have emailed customer service and now await responce. Unless this is sorted quickly then i will reject full bed ( cost close to £800 so not cheap ) as current state not fit for purpose or of satisfactory quality

I am really not happy as buying from HAPPY BEDS. I bought bunk bed nearly 45 days ago. I paid all money.I knew my consent at that level. At delivery date they gave me 3 out of 4 packages plus 2 others. They had lost one. They did not call me, I reached the help desk and provided them all delivery photos. They apologized and said they will turn to me in 48 hours. I waited but no one called me or sent me a message. I called again, they said they are checking and would return to me next day, but again no call. Every-time I called them but they never turned back to me. Meanwhile my two small sons needed to sleep on the floor with some blankets. I told them several times, at last they said they found my lost package and it will be delivered on this Monday (01.10.2021). Today just 10 mins. before delivery transportation company sent a message that they would not deliver because they had no package. It was really crazy. I called them again, they said let's check what is happening. Then I got a shock. Because everything was wrong, there was no package no where, they had a mistake about the package finding. Actually they did not find anything. Again if I did not call I would not learn this nightmare. They say they will provide me a package this week instead of the lost one. I do not know what to do because at the end still everything is ambiguous. They just promise but nothing is happening.

I made a purchase in may for my son’s bed to be delivered in July. It is now the end of October and I am still awaiting delivery. My son has been sleeping on a mattress on the floor in the meantime. Customer services have offered no solution or help to the problem and every time they say it will be in stock it is again delayed. I have never experienced such awful service and I will never be using this company again.
