AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I ordered a quadruple sleeper and 2 mattresses to go with it mid January to be delivered early February. After many delays with distribution it was finally going to be delivered on a Monday late March. As it was a school day I asked if it could be delivered outside school times to which I was told no problem they would let the delivery company know and I would be given a 3 hour time slot the day before. Saturday evening I receieved a message telling me the delivery would be 7am-10am (right at school time!). By this time neither Happy beds nor the delivery company were open until Monday so I had no chance to argue/ change this, luckily a friend of mine could do the school run for me. So all arrives on the Monday and I opened the first box of bed parts. As well as the overall quality being absolutely horrendous almost every single piece of wood was damaged! I called happy beds immediately and requested they come and pick everything back up for a full refund. They said they would only pick up and refund the bedframe not the mattresses as there was "nothing wrong with them" unless I paid them £120 to collect them - absolutely ridiculous! The majority of the staff on the phone were incredibly rude and unhelpful. Damaged bed was supposed to be picked up on Thursday 1st April between 8am-6pm. I stayed in all day with my 2 young children, our flat full of now 2 mattresses and 4 large boxes of wood, got to half 5 and no sign so called the company and was told that the driver ran out of legal driving hours and that I would have to wait until the following Tuesday before they would come to get it all! Tuesday came and I again waited and waited however this time I called non stop until the driver finally came at 4.30pm. By far the worst experience I have ever had with a company. Stay clear!

I have never dealt with such an awful, incompetent and unprofessional company. I ordered a bed with a 5 year warranty. It was poor quality and did not last more than a year. Naturally i asked them for a refund. Here is where it gets unbelievable...their excuse is that they cannot get hold of the manufacturer. Utter lies. If you care about your money don't spend it with happybeds.

Conmen. Advertise on Topcashback to offer you money back on your purchases. Decided to use Happy Beds over another retailer as the cashback percentage was better. However after purchase they declined the cashback with no justification or proper reason. Despite repeated attempts to obtain a reason, am simply left with the same response. Raised a case with Financial Ombudsman. Duping people to buy from them with false promises.

Ordered a TV bed on Januray 11th, expected delivery delays due to the nature of the item along with Covid-delays. However I was then emails to say I wouldn't receive shipping confirmation (not even the actual delivery) my item until 7 days from April 1st. Asked for a refund which was acknowledged (expected 5-7 working days from receipt of the email). This time passed & when I followed up again I was told the refund had been "stuck in an automated payment system" & it would now be another 5-7 days. Terrible service not only in taking an order they knew they couldn't fulfill in any respectable amount of time, but then not to issue the refund allowing me to find a suitable replacement. Wouldn't recommend this company at all.

I bought the Blake White Wooden Guest Bed and Trundle Frame. Instructions were poor. The first time we used the guest bed the legs broke down. Luckily it didn't injured my children. Called the company and they refused to replace/collect it unless I disassembled and re-packaged it. I had already paid somebody to assembled it, so I should not be paying somebody again for a faulty bed that it is entirely their fault. Poor customer services. I was previously offered two pillows in exchange for a 5 * review on this item.

AVOID AVOID AVOID! This retailer has a host of T&C's which mean that if you are unfortunate enough to receive a damaged or incorrect product, when you would normally expect a replacement with minor inconvenience to you, instead you could wait for weeks to get this sorted. You have to go through taking pictures, unpacking and repacking the product and emailing back and forth. I have never experienced this before, and will never use Happy Beds again. Read on if you'd like the full detail of my experience. We ordered a superkingsize bed from HappyBeds, delivery came on 1st September as agreed, great. That's unfortunately when the problems started - we opened the first package to discover several marks and damage on the main headboard and the second package to find more damage and stains on the footboard. Rather than open anything else, we immediately contacted HappyBeds to inform them. Happy Beds replied to say they needed the part numbers, which meant we had to open up all boxes fully to find the instruction manual (which is buried with all the screws etc). We did this, informed HB's of the part numbers, sent pictures of the damaged headboard and footboard, pictures of the boxes upon delivery and pictures of the delivery labels for the batch numbers. I asked then if HB's could arrange for a pick up and replacement at the same time (and ASAP, as we had no bed to sleep on). HB's replied to tell me that ''i am afraid the manufacturer would not look to exchange the full item should only parts 1 and 2 be affected'' (bear in mind that parts 1 and 2 are the headboard and footboard!) ''We would require you to check all of the individual parts and pieces for any manufacturing faults prior to raising a claim under your warranty, as we do state in the terms and conditions this must be done within 48 hours of receipt''. So, we then had to open all three boxes fully, and check against the instructions to see if we had all parts and if any more were damaged, then repack it all - as you can imagine, quite time consuming, inconvenient and stressful! We then advised HB's that the side rails for the bed were also damaged/marked, and that we had done the best we could with the other parts, but as we could not assemble the bed, we are not 100% sure if all okay. HB's then agreed to a full replacement (hurrah!) but earliest this could happen was another 4 working days in the future. We were also asked to reassemble and repackage the bed and send (yet more) pictures/proof of this having been done. I expressed my dissatisfaction at the length of time this was taking, all the the photographs needed and the fact we had already been sleeping on the floor for 3 days. I also explained that we had not assembled the bed (see earlier emails!) and it was all packaged and did not understand the need for more photo's. By this time, it was all very frustrating and stressful. HB's response was that they were sorry, that they are the online retailer only, 15 days is the trading standards turnaround and images of the packed item required otherwise they cannot arrange the exchange. I send 'evidence' of appropriate repacking the same day (3rd Sept) and had not received a response by 5th so chased up late afternoon and then the following morning. I was so stressed by this point.. my kitchen was full of huge boxes waiting to be collected, we were sleeping on the floor, and the whole process felt very uncaring and not good customer service. We received a response on 6th in the afternoon. Apparently my chaser emails had ''pushed my ticket to the back of the queue'' so the earliest we could now get a redelivery was 6 days later, on 12th - 11 days after the original delivery. So, new bed arrived as promised and old one collected. We opened all boxes. Most was okay but a small amount of damage on the main headboard (luckily on the back). I immediately advised HB's that I was going to keep this one, as I cannot go through all of that again but I was hoping for an offer of compensation for the stress, inconvenience and general rubbish customer service. After asking for more photos of how the packaging looks on delivery, plus the damaged part. HB's have offered £50 in recompense for the damaged part only. It's in their T&C's ''as a business, we do not offer monetary compensation, and cannot be held responsible for any consequential losses''. ''whilst we appreciate you may be unhappy with the process, we must remind you that you had agreed to following it whilst placing your order should any errors arise'' If you look through all of the other bad reviews, when something goes wrong, HB's have written themselves out of any obligation in their nonsensical 'T&C's' which they refer back to at every point possible. I've declined the £50 offer and am instead taking the time to warn others who may be considering buying from Happy Beds.

Horrendous customer service. We recieved a confirmation date for our delivery, and I managed to organise time off work to receive it. Subsequently, we recieved another email stating that it was in fact not in stock and would be delivered at some point in the future. They refused to organise the delivery around my schedule this time, and I told them that I would be in contact with a new date. Instead of waiting for that, their couriers dumped the delivery outside our door in the rain one day with no prior notice.

Do not buy mattresses from Happy Beds! Bought a bunkbed for my toddler and mattress arrived with torn packaging and filthy all down one side. I complained to Customer Services and was offered cleaning fluid?! The agents I spoke to didn't seem to appreciate the issue i.e. I wanted the product in new condition, as that's what I had ordered and paid for. I rejected this offer and (as the original packaging was damaged) was told I should to wrap the mattress in bin liners myself to return. I rejected this offer and asked for a % refund. This was rejected by Happy Beds. Am throwing out the mattress (no idea where it's been!). Poor quality standards and poor complaint resolution. Back to John Lewis...

Simply terrible service. Delivered a kids bed set with numerous broken / severely damaged parts. Offered a paltry GOGW to keep and then thought acceptable to leave a 7 year old without a bed for another 6 days because they can't process an exchange any faster. Avoid at all costs.

Read all the small print beforehand: We recently purchased a new mattress for my daughter and it is very poor quality. I contacted Happy Beds to return it and was happy to pay for their return service, but please note - they don't have one!! They said I had to organize a courier - which was actually going to cost almost as much as the mattress. Not worth it! I will not order again!

My daughters absolutely love this bed! The instructions were made easier because every piece was so well labelled and it is very good quality craftsmanship. One packet of white plastic plugs was missing but customer sercice sent it first class immediately. Would definitely recommend!

They use unreliable delivery service. Beds never delivered on the first delivery date. We were then given another date but again they were not delivered that day! They were finally delivered on the 3rd occasion! We therfore wasted 3 days waiting. They never offered any compensation for wasted days, inconvenience and disappointment. Tough.

STAY AWAY, I paid £80 for nothing... Watch out for hidden terms and conditions... Delivery service is rubbish, was meant to be delivered on a Saturday, nothing comes... I check tracking and it says that the item was delivered and a card was left?! 1) No one came, I was waiting all day! 2) The location of the delivery was Heathrow, I am in West London!! I email 'HappyBeds' asking where my order is and they reply with: "there was a failed delivery, we will reattempt a delivery on Tuesday" Tuesday... Nothing, I check tracking which states my parcel has been successfully delivered and signed for, location: Heathrow?! After this I started reading reviews online, to find others who had similar stories: late/no deliveries, broken/missing parts etc... I email them to cancel the delivery and refund my order to which they respond with an £80 cancellation fee (not even mentioned in the terms and conditions!). Fine. I couldn't imagine the hassle of having to chase up my delivery only to fine parts missing/broken. I'm now £80 out of pocket compared to £330, all for nothing. I went to Argos and got my bed 3 days later.

Literally the worse company I've ever used First time I've ever ordered a bed online. All started out just fine, great communication, upgraded to 2 man delivery team, good prices ect Got a mattress delivered on Friday and no bed. Got told after waiting 6 hours and 5 recorded phone calls that there's a mistake and the bed will be delivered in 6 weeks. You've read that correctly, 6 weeks. Got a 33 week pregnant wife and no bed. You can just imagine how popular I am at home. My bedroom currently resembles train spotting. A mid 30's white guy on his own sleeping on a mattress After a bit of research it appears that the company was liquidated in 2013. The company was reformed and a new CEO was in charge and now the same CEO from the liquidation is back This company appears great, slick website and all the chat down the phone. But guess what. They don't have what they sell and still take the money. Bound to end up in hot water again because it's clearly a company that fills it's boots then shuts down and re-emerges as a new one. If you buy from here you need your head examined!

Steer Clear of These Time Wasting Cowboys Poor, very poor. Ordered, paid for and confirmed a new bed almost a month ago for delivery this week. Just been told that the bed is no longer in stock and can not be supplied. Should change name to unhappy beds! Poor service, poor communication and time wasted. I would steer clear of these time wasting cowboys and use a company who can deliver on their promises.
