“I like your website and find it reasonably easy to find the items I wish to purchase. I am also impressed with the speedy delivery and quality of the products supplied. The experience would be greatly enhanced if I could create an account which recorded my previous order details and of course my address and other details to save time and effort.”

Hi Colin, appreciate your request, we used to have that facility but we got absolutely spammed with fake accounts and it was having an effect on the smooth running of the site, so we removed that facility. I know Paypal isn't everyones cup of tea, but if you do have a PayPal account you can use that for a faster checkout experience. We'd rather you paid by card as the fees we pay to offer that facility are less but.... would rather have a very happy customer with a 5 star review than a mostly happy customer with a 4 star review :-) Regards Paul

“Good service - as usual. Product was in stock, competitive price and dispatched same day so no delay. Found the website a bit "clunky" when making my order - could have been my fault!!”

“HAB's delivery of the Phonak RemoteMic was very quick and well packaged. The product itself is expensive for what it is - a tiny microphone that clips to the speaker's shirt - but it does the job well (in conjunction with an existing Phonak ComPilot "necklace" that communicates with the deaf person's hearing aids). Charges quickly too. A safety chain would be reassuring in case the clip slips off the shirt while washing up, or worse! I suppose one could be improvised using the supplied key-ring clip and a safety-pin... Even in its little bag, I wouldn't risk putting such an expensive gadget on my keyring. My main niggle with ComPilot (used with RemoteMic or the TV basestation) is there is no visible indication of the volume levels. As both devices have 14 levels, it is quite difficult to get and remember a good combination of settings for both for our circumstances. An LED display showing from -7 to +7 would improve the usability immensely, especially when the ComPilot is used with a RemoteMic and a TV basestation. Having said all that, it is good that there is something to make life a little more tolerable for both parties.”

“The Corda tubes were fine. However, they were pictured as having the earpiece domes attached but when they arrived the domes were missing - apparently HAB used the manufacturer's photo without indicating that the domes were not included with the tubes.”

Hi Mike, to be fair and in mitigation, the image you refer to also has a picture of the hearing aid which we also did not supply! We can only show the images we have to hand and are provide with, but the text in the listing clearly states that it's tubes you are buying, not domes and not a hearing aid. Regards Paul
