Bad, bad, bad!........ Do not use - dishwasher is still not fixed after 7 weeks due to parts being out of stock. They are refusing to give me back my money - even though they cannot give me a date for the parts to come in. Chased and chased - apparently the complaints department do have a phone line to speak to their customers - really. Absolute joke - now taking it further. Also be warned - they charge an high admin fee on any parts ordered which they do not tell you over the phone but apparently it's in the contract! STAY AWAY if you want your appliance fixed in 2020.....

If I could give zero stars I would. Asked for a repair to a dishwasher on 21/10 and paid £69. The next day after properly reading the terms and conditions I decided to cancel - which was within there 14 day cooling off period. After repeated emails I am still awaiting return of my £69, There customer service is a joke.

Disappointingly poor service, the engineer was quick to visit and diagnose the problem. I will order the parts sir and be back next Friday, Friday came and went so I called up to see why they hadn't been and apparently go assist hadn't confirmed the order of the parts. I chased go assist who were going to call back and now 2 weeks later I am still chasing go assist to authorise ordering the parts and come and repair the fault. They would have called me but apparently they cannot make outgoing calls! I now have to wait another week for the repair to be carried out.

Horrible horrible service. I booked an appointment online (and paid) for thursday. Didn't hear a peep from the company. Then on thursday noon, i'm told that someone will contact me within 8 hours. No one contacted me. I spoke to them on friday and I was told someone would come on Saturday and no one showed.... no communication, no shows. They just take the money and leave you hanging. Will never use again.

I took out cover to repair a fridge freezer under what I thought was their no fix no fee guarantee. It took them 3 weeks to arrange an appointment as their engineers were on holiday, and then they couldn't fix it but said I would get no refund as it was a labour only policy!

I agreed a a date and time window for the engineer to repair my neff dishwasher and they did not bother to call or turn up Very dissatisfied customer Do not use these people They did not contact me I had to call them to get a refund

I would not recommend this company to anybody. Called to have my boiler repaired and was told I would receive a call the following day from a local repairer to arrange an appointment. Received no such call and had to chase them up, and was told that the only local repairer was unavailable and that they had contacted 6 or 7 others but could do nothing until those had responded. Got no call the next day and had to chase them up again and was told exactly the same thing. Bear in mind that I had to pay £200 up front just for them to visit. At that point I cancelled. Their was absolutely no communication, and to top it off I called local company who sent someone out that afternoon and was charged half the money. I wouldn't touch this company with somebody else's barge pole.

I run a pub with B&B and booked a repair visit for a Bosch washing machine. In doing so I made clear the machine is not available to members of the public and in an area not open to the public. My not insignificant fee was taken and the following day go-assist attempted to back out of the arrangement. After an hour on the 'phone with them, I was told a repair could be done but with no guarentee. And at the same price! I not un-naturally asked for a refund but now have to wait 3-5 days for the money back. Beware - quick to take your money but will attempt to wriggle out of the arrangement and slow to refund. Get somebody else!

I made a booking online and paid for a tumble dryer repair. The form asked me when I wanted my repair and I selected the Friday at the end of the same week. Received a confirmation email of my repair. Called the evening before to be told that the local repair firm’s computer system was down and they had been unable to confirm the booking therefore the repair wasn’t going to happen. I had taken time off work to be at home. No one had made contact with me. So frustrated as I have lost 3 days. Very poor customer service.

I booked a repair and no one turned up. I didnt get any notice of cancellation - just a lod of excuses when I called them. Gave them a second chance and same happened again. No call, no explanation. Complete waste of two days!! Unacceptable. Do not be tempted to go with them!

Conned then robbed by thieves! I phoned go assist & given 2 options to choose from. I chose the second option where I paid £149.97 & £26.85 for the first quarterly instalment for 12 month to big warranties. I was promises a no fix no fee & that I would get a washing machine of the same value as mine if unable to fix. Yet the money was taken out straight away on the 1st Oct '18 even when the engineer Geoff Evans (name & shame) didn't come until 10th Oct. He was in my Kidderminster home for no more than 10 minutes after finding a wire in the machine. He was very rude when I phoned him back to do a proper job. I was told I would have to have the same engineer which I refused then told during another phone call that they had been told by the engineer that he had fixed my machine & therefore I couldn't have a refund. I am going through the dispute department of my bank to get my money back. My advise, do not touch go assist with a barge pole or any other company that behave in this disgusting way!

Our experience of Go Assist suggests that they are absolutely useless at getting things fixed but really good at selling you an over priced service contract with a company that operates out of the same building as them 'Big Warranties'. The fixed price they offered on our repair to our oven was only available if you agreed to the contract. In practice it turned out to be over £200.00 more than originally agreed! "Read the Small Print". The good news is for this inflated price, over £500.00, a contract company did fix our oven but it took nearly 2 months. When finally completed they walked out leaving the old parts, packaging and filth all over the kitchen floor. It is hard to imagine how a service could be any worse.

10 weeks and repair not completed. In addition the annual maintenance plan they sign you too has now charged 3 months and that's before the repaid gas even been completed. Avoid!!!

Hello Mr McConnochi, we're sorry to hear you have not had a good experience so far. An engineer has been out to your appliance numerous times but as you are aware there are complications with the repair. The new parts have been delivered and we are working as fast as we can to resolve this. In regards to the charges this is from a different company and you will need to contact them direct.

Since my last review in mid December things have gone from bad to worse. Nearly 8 weeks later i still have no dishwasher despite 4 engineers visiting ( 2 of whom brought wrong parts!). coupled with this i have lost considerable having to wait in for engineers who can't give a time in advance except on the day itself when i have already had to cancel appointments. as i am self employed and my wife works this is costing us a fortune. the whole thing is disgusting and i still have no idea when the next visit will be. 7th February 2017 Bad experience unfortunately. Having spent a lot of time setting a repair call on the phone which involved quite a lot of time consuming detail including agreeing that repairs would be carried out next Tuesday ( please listen to your recorded call) I was most dismayed to receive a call this afternoon to say that no repair engineer would be available on Tuesday at any time and that was that. I had explained that I had a very busy schedule next week and that Tuesday was the best day to fit this in as no specific time can be booked in advance. Would you please cancel my cover and refund all the money that you have taken off my credit card please. I look forward to receiving written confirmation of this. Malcolm Aldridge

Hello Malcolm. We understand it can be frustrating to not get offered a repair on your preferred date, but due to the time of year our engineers are extremely busy. A member of our Customer Care team has since called you to arrange an earlier date, so hopefully your opinion of us has changed and your repair gets sorted quickly and efficiently as you'd expect.

I have had this booked since the 3/11/16 and it has still not been resolved and it's now 8/12/16. I don't think the warrenty cover should have started due to the fridge freezer is still not working due to the problems thank you.

Hello Mrs Mckenna, as far as we were aware this repair was completed last month. If there are still problems with the appliance then please do get in contact. Your repair is under a one year guarantee so we will come out again for free if necessary.

Nobody showed up. Nobody phoned - I have to chase Hoover directly. Eventually at 12 noon Hoover phoned to say they were not coming and engineer could now come on Friday. Go assist were useless and didn't phone or email me back despite promising they would. Very disappointing service - here's hoping after paying £170 someone can be bothered to turn up on Friday to do the job! Terrible service

I phoned go assist to request an engineer to fix my Neff microwave oven. A very smooth talking employee informed me that an engineer would telephone me and arrange a time frame for Friday of this week. I arranged a day off but no one called me and when I eventually got through to Neff they said they couldn't come and gave me a date for the following week, with no two hour frame. I had to pay in advance plus take an insurance policy out. Everything you coach your telephone operators to say borders on fraudulent!. Will never use you again you and will warn other people too!
