Didn't even use their service. Put in some information for a quote, but decided not to continue. Began receiving spam calls from them, 3-6 times a day. Even when I've blocked their number, they have more.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS - They have charged me £150 for an engineer who came out and was literally in my house for 3-minutes, took a cursory glance at my cooker, hadn't listened to what I was telling him about the weird noises it had been making and the spluttering gas, and mumbled something about a heater and motor before making a quick exit. We then had to chase the company a number of times, who informed us that he couldn't find a serial number, and that they couldn't offer any further help! This despite the fact our Rangemaster oven is a very common type. No offer of assistance, no word form the engineer at the time of the visit that he couldn't see the serial number, and now no refund or offer of any further help. Also don't be fooled by the 'no fix no fee' wording on the site, completely untrue - unless you have agreed to have a super expensive fixed fee repair. Awful customer service, awful experience and so unhelpful. Please avoid at all costs.

Would leave a 0 star if possible! What an absolute shambles of a company. My complaint and issue have been on going since September. Go Assists customer service is the worst service I have EVER had to deal with. My emails are constantly ignored and I have had to chase and chase only for Go Assist to ask the same questions. I paid for a service with was never completed and I ended up using a different plumber. When I spoke to Go Assist about this, I was promised a refund if a different plumber fixed the problem which their engineer couldn't. This refund has not been completed. Do not use this compay unless you want to waste your time, be ignored and be caused a huge amount of stress. Do not use this company

highly incompetent engineers they sent. An engineer came to repair my dishwasher and left with 5 minutes saying machine is now working but when I checked for washing my dishes, it was not working. He was not able to repair anything and then call back and ask for extra money to get it repaired

I just wished I read reviews before booking this awful company. Its taken 4 weeks and £120 for them to say its the gas. The engineer was rubbish and we didn't believe a word that came out of his mouth. He didn't even drive himself.

I booked an engineer. To have my washing machine. And when I phoned to book. An opp. I wasn't told that the. £140 was only the call out fee. And not to fix it. If I had known. I wouldent have booked you. Iv just lost £140 out my sick money. For nothing. I need my washer. As I have vascular disease in both my legs. I'm 64 yrs old. House bound. And in contenant. So washing machine. Is a massive thing I need. You need to tell costumers. That its just the call out fee. Iv sat here breaking my heart. So won't be putting a good review. I understand you .would take so much money. But to keep all my money. Is out of order.

On Friday I purchased the repair product for my American style Fridge Freezer. I paid for the repair call out and assessment plus a full year insurance. Repaired was due today. I chased for a time this morning to be told they don't have any engineers for my product but if I pay an extra £120+ they can get one out to me but it want have the annual cover either! What a scam. Ive requested a full refund but let's see what happens next! They are selling products unfit for purpose.

£89 taken up front and tied in to an insurance policy also paid for to have a blaspheming engineer come and tell me what I already knew was wrong with my oven having helped him “lift” it out of the housing. He did not have the element needed although he did try and see if another would fit! I managed to cancel the insurance but will be clobbered by Go Assist for the full call out charge having negotiated unsuccessfully not to be charged.

We organised a washer dryer repair with GoAssist in November 2023. We paid a £129 for a callout, where the repair man spent 15mins at the property to determine the heating element was faulty. In order to have the heating element replaced, we were told we needed to pay an additional £131.10 for the spare part and a second visit. We agreed to this fee under the caveat the repair needed to be carried out in the morning on a certain day. GoAssist agreed, and scheduled the second visit. On the day of the second visit, I made sure to contact the repair man (as we were given his number for the first visit) to ensure he was able to make it for the morning. He said he was due to arrive at 11:30 after another job in Yate, so it was close, but doable. However, I received a call at 11:31 where the repair man explained he was running late as his previous job fixing a fridge freezer had overrun. Therefore, he would not be able to arrive in the morning, as he had still not left the site in Yate. So, he prompted me to call the office and reschedule. The GoAssist office agreed to reschedule for the following Friday (or so I was told). We received no confirmation from GoAssist for the rescheduling, so I called to confirm. At this point, they told us we needed to pay another £99 as we 'canceled the repair same-day'. We have called regularly to dispute this but they will not budge and keep repeating the same things over an over. 'This will be investigated', 'we will call you back', or 'we've been advised you need to pay another £99 callout fee'. The dispute is still ongoing, despite the fact the repairman and my new (paid for) heating element never even coming within 10miles of my property. It is important to note, GoAssist are a middleman company, and only subcontract repair work to local companies with an additional mark up. I chose them as they appeared local to my address in Bristol, but I assume it is a virtual office or order to boost sales in the area. Do not use GoAssist. Use a local contractor instead.

I have had the absolute worst experience with this Go Assist. First, they promised a repair within 48 hours and then it took them 1 week to send someone out. The repair person said he couldn’t find parking on the date so drove away and then charged for entire visit with no plan to re attend. There was parking around the corner. Just not on my street. The customer service was also horrendous. I will specially name Jake as being obstructive and unhelpful. No help or solutions were provided. To be charged the full amount for NO ONE to attend my property and significant delays is beyond outrageous. I can not advise against using this company enough. It has been the worst experience I have ever had with a company.

Fraudulent Transactions. The Royal Bank of Scotland declined a payment to them as fraudulent. A year previously I'd paid to get a repairman to come and look at my cooker, and in the confirmation email they mentioned free membership of some scheme which I'd never asked for and never used. A year later, they attempted to charge me £49.99 for it. If a high street bank routinely blocks their payments, it's clearly not an isolated problem.

I paid an attendance fee of £89 someone came out and reprogrammed the cooker which worked for a couple of weeks, it was the computer board that controls the cooker, a second call out fee of £120 was paid, and this time they admitted the computer board needed replacing, a charge of £489 was paid, it was a faulty part and you cannot even reprogram the cooker, I have had to buy a new one, and reading these posts will start County Court proceedings, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I booked a repair through Go Assist for my Neff fitted cooker, I paid upfront the sum of £89.00. Their technician did absolutely nothing to the cooker and told me he would go away order the relevant parts and return within approximately 5 days to carry out the repair. I phoned Go Assist because I had not been contacted regarding this repair and was then told that the technician had said my cooker was unrepairable. He spent no more than 10 minutes at my home photographing my cooker and nothing else. This is a complete Rip Off I now have no working cooker and £89 less in my bank account.

I paid £129 on the 13th of September to have my dishwasher repaired. The engineer came out on the 14th September and replaced a jubilee clip. I tried the dishwasher later that day and water flooded out- the original fault. I rang Go Assist back and they said the engineer would come back out on Monday 18th September. However on Friday 15th September asking for another £56 for the jubilee clip . I refused as the repair hadn't worked and the engineer hadn't done his job properly. Today Monday 18th the engineer hasn't turned up so I paid £129 for nothing. They have ripped me off for the repair and the part ( which you can buy for under £10,). Please avoid at all costs.

Wish I checked these reviews before using Go Assist, they take your money up front and don't do the work or even give you a date of when it can be expected to be done. I've been constantly chasing for three months just for a date and been given excuse after excuse and they still can't give me a date.

Absolutely terrible service-avoid any contact with them Really disappointed. Engineer came out for 5 minutes and couldn't repair. But I still had to pay the full £89 and £50 cancellation fee. There isn't a 30 day cool off for the Big Warranties insurance policy that Go Assist provide in partnership. I was happy to pay a partial fee but there was absolutely no flexibility from either company.. If I could give 0 stars I would and would strongly advise don't use this service
